Playing one of the first sets & seeing the room, decor and the big bad subs of Room 2, years of fantastical lore and reality melded, I wanted to keep it sexy, wonky, trippy— imagining a psychic electric swamp and how one would levitate thru it... to the sky. towards a growing interest in sound. 
islas began crafting long, throbbing
sets that bring together delay
pedals, ASMR, spoken word,
movie scores, and ambient
sounds, playing with the
friction that exists when one
record meets another, with the
joy that erupts when sounds
come together to create the
previously unheard. having
participated in the creation of
