There is no fear in love, perfect love drives out all fear.

MAS is a New York based collaboration project, spearheaded by two multi-faceted musicians and production partners, Jonathan Cunard and Joshua Benson (JB), bringing positive sounds to the world's ears via your speakers and headphones.

These sounds are created with various collaborating artists in New York and worldwide to create a positive message influenced by many musical backgrounds, ranging from rock to reggae, hip hop, electronic, and other styles. This culmination of sounds touches on the higher purpose of bringing down barriers and spreading hope.

Jonathan Cunard: arrangement, bass, keys, guitar, recording, mixing, & sound engineering.

After training at the Gatlin School of Music in North Carolina and the Institute of Audio Research in NYC, Jonathan has produced, engineered, mixed and mastered many projects as well as performed with a slew of artists. This is his most recent and personal outlet coming from his wide range of experience in touring, recording, engineering, and producing.

He's also a husband, father, BBQ king, and dangerous samaurai master in the kitchen.



JB: arrangement, drums, percussion, keys, spoken word, visual art & design.

Joshua's musical experience has gone from drumming in a live hip hop group, to learning percussion in the New York subways while studying graphic design and illustration at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, to co-founding and playing percussion in the Stone Forest Ensemble (SFE), as well as touring and recording with Filipina icon, Kitchie Nadal, who played an integral role in helping start MAS. Now with this current project, he has expanded into co-producing and finally unleashing his spoken word, while still playing a mixture of drums and percussion. 

JB works as a freelance designer and painter/illustrator. His work hangs in four continents worldwide and can be seen at www.JoshuaBenson.com.
