The first thing you should know about  Masarahti ( I am the future ) is, he is a hybrid artist, and a mixture of Louisiana and Bay Area word play. He is a native of Ruston, Louisiana who moved to Vallejo, CA at age 18. He now resides in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. His moxie towards hip hop is very colorful and unique in it's on way. His smash hit "Dope Fiend Larry" which is a dance record, proves just that. His love for music comes from his mother who taught him how to sing at young age, but his love for hip hop was poured on him from his older cousin. Masarahti (I am the future ) would sit in front of his cousin's radio cassette player and listen to each hip hop cassette carefully studying the art. At the age of 19, he signed his first contract. Years later, he signed his second contract. Discouraged with unbalanced situations he and his brother Jewelz created Be About It Entertainment in 2003. From there, is where he began to find his own sound and how to be a artist instead of being a rapper. He has a quote that goes "Greatness takes time, but why believe in time when time doesn't believe in you, so just be great." Wise words spoken from a wise artist / performer.
