The Story:

Miami's drug war was triggered by the 1979 Dadeland Mall shootout; in broad daylight, two gunmen of a Colombian drug gang entered and shot two men at a liquor store. The murderers were immediately dubbed "Cocaine Cowboys" by a police officer. During this period, smuggling rings expanded and, in 1982, a seizure of $100 million worth of cocaine was found in Miami International Airport.

Miami soon became known as the "Drug Capital of the World" due to ensuing turf wars between drug lords.

Hailing from the cold and dark Yakutia region of Russia, Revizia is a project by electronic music producer Alex D. Debuting on JST with his first official release titled “Phantom”, not much is known for this obscure dark Electro producer, other than his love for aggressive bass, dark atmosphere and mid-tempo hypnotic rhythms.

“Phantom” LP focuses on a series of events taking place in a certain city (which is never revealed) sometime in the near future with an unknown and unseen entity terrorizing the local population. But does it even exist if it can be felt but not seen? Or is it all an illusion and another figment of our imagination trying to disguise human committed monstrosities as something supernatural?

"Phantom" sets a dark mystical atmosphere right from the opening seconds with “Massacre”, which it maintains throughout the seven original tracks and the whole thirty four minutes. Each track is a chapter in the mystery and dark lore surrounding “Phantom” with the almost hypnotic rhythms and haunting melodies bursting into explosions of energy and aggression. If descriptions like dark Electro or Horror Techno sound intriguing and interesting, then “Phantom” is definitely for you.
