Brandon "Maserati Rick" Lewis was born on July 1, 1987, in Houston, Texas. His parents were Houston natives so Brandon grasped the southern culture fast. He grew up listening to artists such as Tupac Shakur, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, The Screwed Up Click, Biggie, Juvenile, Fat Pat, Big Hawk, Kevin Gates, Young Jeezy and Z-RO. He discovered his own musical talent at age 15 and was encouraged to take it seriously by a close friend who really pushed him to not be affraid to show the world his talents. Maserati's younger brother is also a rapper, who goes by the name #750FRESH. #750FRESH's current situation inspired him to take music which was both their passions more seriously at a professional level.
