[31/01/2025] Du'ā - A Great Act of Worship Beloved to Allāh - By Abu Idrees Muhammad Khān حفظه الله. Khuṭbah at Masjid As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyyah, Aston, Birmingham, UK.

Some points discussed during this Khuṭbah:

– The great status and nobility of the act of worship: Dua
– Allah تعالى says: And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad ‎ﷺ) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). Surah Baqarah (2):186
– How does Allah تعالى answer the Dua?
– We must answer the call of Allah first.
– How do we answer Allah’s Call?
– The example of the Prophet Nuh عليه السلام and his call to Allah.
– The call of Prophet Ayub عليه السلام and how Allah answered his call.
– Story of Prophet Yunus عليه السلام calling to Allah and his call being answered.
