- An impeccable characteristic the Muslim servant should adorn himself with.
- Imām as-Sa’dī (رحمه الله) on the āyah, “And the slaves of the Most Merciful (Allāh) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness.” [Sūrah al-Furqān 25:63]
- The command to have humility even in the way we walk.
