- An extremely important affair that is required in order to receive success and salvation. 

- “The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children, But only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.” [Sūrah ash-Shūrā 26: 88-89]

– When a person passes away, all of his actions are cut off. Except for three.
1. Ongoing charity
2. Beneficial knowledge

– The permissibility of performing Hajj or Umrah on behalf the deceased.
– The impermissibility of gathering to recite Quran for the deceased.

– The Quran and the Sunnah are both revelations.
– “And he does not speak based upon his own desire. It is indeed a revelation revealed to him.” Surah an-Najm : 3-4.
– “Whatever the Prophet ﷺ gives you take it, and whatever he forbids you from, then stay away from it.” Hadīth.
– The example of the prohibition of the consumption of the domesticated donkey. Hadīth
– The example of the impermissibility of being married to a woman and being married to her niece. Hadīth
– “The Prophet ﷺ said that I have been given the Quran and that which is similar to it with it” Hadīth.
– The deviant sect of the Qurāniyyūn. They reject the Sunnah.
– Some of the refutations upon this deviated sect and their futility.
– The legislation of Allah may be through the Quranic verses, and they may also be through the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ
– It is not possible to find a contradiction between the Quran and the Sunnah.

- A tremendous ḥadīth containing five pieces of prophetic advice we all require in our lives. 

- Examples of how the Messenger ﷺ combined compassion with knowledge. 

- 1. Avoid the prohibitions and you will be the most devout of worshippers.

- Two foundations in our religion regarding commands and prohibitions.  

- A frightening ḥadīth describing people from this ummah whose good deeds will be scattered into floating dust particles on the Day of Judgement.

- 2. Be content with what Allāh has allotted for you and you will be the richest of the people.

- True richness and true poverty. 

- Fruits of being content. 

- 3. Honour your neighbour and you will be a Mu’min.

- The dangerous affair of harming one’s neighbour. 

- The Messenger’s ﷺ connection of goodness to one’s neighbour to īmān. 

- 4. Love for the people what you love for yourself and you will be a Muslim.

- A sign of complete īmān.

- 5. Do not be excessive in laughter, for indeed, it will kill the heart. 

- How excessive laughter combined with weak knowledge and heedlessness leads to the death of the heart.
