Slam return to Soma with the slick, minimalistic and hypnotic Activate EP. With a focus firmly rooted on the dance floor, the duo explore deeper and more hypnotic regions on this new EP, with a varied selection of raw, driving yet stripped techno.

Title track Activate opens with deep, driving, pulsing rhythms and straight forward percussive elements, lead with hypnotic vocal loops. Quantum delves deeper as dubbed out reverb & delay saturates the tripped out acid bass sounds that flicker into existence as stripped yet effective drums create the intensity. Somnambulist continues the stripped back nature of the EP as subtle changes in FX give the track live whilst the swelling percussive elements drive the rhythms. Trsmit offers up a tougher yet still minimalistic approach to close out the EP. An intense and tension building atmosphere is created throughout the track as warping synths swell & filter against a backdrop of sparse yet effective percussion.

Soma affiliate Franco Rossi returns to the label with his first fully realised release with the superbly produced, Orbiter Dicta EP. Having first released as part of the remix competition on Slam’s  ‘Exhibit’ series to contributing to the ‘SOMA NEU’ VA releases, Franco immediately impressed with his tactical and expertly crafted sound. This latest release sees him drop a 5 track EP, filled with hard hitting percussive elements based around deep and grooving techno.

Marcel Fengler's IMF label kicks off 2025 by unifying different generations on `The Past Voices EP'. Nightcode was born during a blackout in a neon-drenched city, when Pan-Pot, deep in a late-night modular synth session, accidentally intercepted a signal from a defunct satellite looping alien rave transmissions. As the data warped their machines, every dial and fader moved on its own, channeling a hypnotic rhythm no human had ever programmed. The storm outside cracked in sync with the beat, and the studio lights pulsed like they were under the track's spell. Desperate to capture it before it vanished, they recorded the entire session through a toaster, a walkman, and sheer panic. By dawn, the signal was gone-but Nightcode lived, encoded with a frequency not even they fully understood.

Stef Mendesidis returns to Klockworks with a massive four-tracker. A resident at Moscow’s Monasterio, the DJ & producer has developed a solid techno sound channelling cinematic aesthetics that he already proved with his first appearance on the label.
Mostly using analogue gear Mendesidis records his grooves in one take. ‘Klockworks 26’ includes 4 of his distinctive cuts showcasing his excellent production that you will experience at Ben Klock’s DJ sets.
