Dangerous Goods return to I Travel to You with ‘Wish’, a Street Soul inspired version of a 2001 R&B hit.

Featuring two new synth-driven takes recorded over the summer. The A side grooves over a popping Juno bassline, tight 808 drums, and a fresh vocal. The Deepest Dub mix was re-recorded then cut to tape and pitched down, influenced by the breaks and bass heavy productions of the late 80s and early 90s.

Disco Mind is a young but already standout label and now it is back with Feijão Amigo, another must-have EP featuring Brazilian gems expertly reworked by two of Brazil's top edit maestros in Joutro Mundo and Bernardo Pinheiro. Pinheiro kicks off with 'Fogo' which is big on funk and brass and perfect for peak time, while his second cut 'Diga Amor' is a lively rework guaranteed to move you. On the flip, Mundo offers 'Santos Da Guine' which has been sourced from an ultra-rare record and elevated by a subtle touch-up. The EP closes with 'Dia Lindo' which is a collaboration between Joutro Mundo and Pasternak and is full of sunshine, funk and bold hooks.

Disco Music is probably one of Toy Tonics’s catchiest tracks. Played by DJs like Palms Trax, A-Trak, Louie Vega, Folamour and tons of other big names, this track could become an anthem for the new wave of disco that is invading the clubs 2024. 
After techno and trance revivals of the last year not just the Italo disco movement has become massive among the younger generation, but all kinds of Afro, Latin, new wave and indie disco sounds are invading the dance floors.

Fimiani who made this track, inspired by a rare old song from the 1970ies played all instruments himself with a group of friends (no samples).

Kicking off with feel good classic NYC disco, DANCEMUZAK spins a familiar tune into something hypnotic and driving, while ITSDISCOTIME takes some mind-blowing holy grail source material and loops and builds to perfection. The flip side launches with the cheeky uptempo soul of LOOKINGGOOD that seems almost predestined for a Theo Parrish set, and finishes slow and low with the Clavinet driven funk of 1HEATER4SASHA. "Para Mytho Disco" is a futuristic mix of sounds. It's far away from the dark monotone techno and trance music from Kapote's hometown Berlin. Instead, he creates warm, friendly atmospheres full of sonic colors and little musical surprises.
Kapote's knowledge of music history and his background as a jazz piano student and son of classic music composer are clearly inside this music. Before turning into a DJ and electronic music producer, he has been playing in bands since he was 13 years old.  The album is full of emotional chord progressions played by Kapote on various keyboards. Sometimes reminding music from the past without being retro at all. The bass lines and melodies are inspired by jazz fusion from the 1970ies. And he programmed syncopated grooves that come from Afro-American dance music. There are influences from Japanese electronic music (Yellow Magic Orchestra), from 1980ies Synthwave and from 1990ies electronica (like Squarepusher and Luke Vibert).
