Dutch artist HATT.D, a GLBDOM and Happiness Therapy veteran, makes his first debut on Rossotunes with ‘Rotation’. An EP of three original house tracks and a remix by Marc Brauner.

’Rotation’ is an epilogue for summer. Comforting and fresh at its core, it leaves us reminiscing over carefree sun-soaked days. The opening track, ‘Daylight’, is a lightweight delight. It makes the perfect intro to this little piece of paradise, with its bouncy bass and dreamy synths. The hints of female vocals are like a soft silhouette luring us from the horizon. It flows effortlessly until we cross over to ‘Morning sun’, a vibrant jazzy production with playful piano and echoing male vocals. Then comes ‘Night time’, the final original on this EP. True to its name, there’s nothing timid about this track, which takes a deeper turn and dives head first into soulful vocals. And of course the cherry on top is Marc Brauner's remix, which stays true to ‘Night time’ but reinvents its soundscapes by fusing it with breakbeats and groovy synth piano.

PREMIERE: HATT.D - Night Time (Marc Brauner Remix) [Rosso Tunes]

Ben Gomori chops up a couple of cratedigging discoveries for the first Monologues Edits release, taking the juiciest bits from two ‘90s house jams and serving them up in one dancefloor-ready and fully-licensed package.  Drum Club pushed a neat line in psychedelic-tinged house music in the first half of the ‘90s and were affiliated with the legendary Spiral Tribe free party crew. Their 1993 release ‘Sound System’ was remixed by the legendary Italian producer and DJ, Claudio Coccoluto, who sadly passed in 2021. His deep and trippy mix centred around a throbbing organ bass groove which Gomori has focused on in his edit which he created back in 2019 and had been readying for release before his passing. All proceeds from this edit will go to Claudio’s family.

After our debut vinyl release “Cosmic Vibrations” with Rush City x Handerk; We’re ready to close the year with our first edits series. This time our favorite duo Rush City wanting to show their versatility and influences in music, travel back in time and decided to present 4 reworks of rare artists and unexpected music genres such as Jazz, experimental Rock, Italo, Afro and Funk. With this in mind they took music from different eras and decided to turned the original tracks into a more clubby electronic version for today’s dancefloor. Our first edit series starts with “Beautiful Black Girl” an amazing afro funk track with a poetry recitation produced by legendary musician Quincy Jones. Rush City chose to make an afro old school house vibe by adding beats, catchy slap basslines, and warm synths on this one;. The release follows with an impressive improvised vocal ensemble by Bobby Mcferrin, turned into a trippy breakbeat acid funk by the duo. The third edit is a percussive madness rework from an 80’s underrated Italo Disco Project called R.EM. The last but not least is a very rare downtempo polish masterpiece called Z Listu Do M by Czeslaw Niemen where Rush City turned into in an 8 minute acid tribal journey
