TULTD010 // Horsemen - Cats & Dogs EP

Horsemen make their debut on Small Great Things with Southbound, a warm and colourful EP made to ease the winter blues.

Drawing from a wide palette of house influences, the record showcases the duo’s versatility and depth beyond a single formula. The release follows Horsemen’s first year as residents at Small Great House, the label’s monthly party at OXI Berlin, including its beloved summer open airs that helped shape the sound of this EP. Southbound also introduces their first collaboration with vocalist Guya.

While the A-side sets a relaxed tone with disco and jazzy influences, perfect for those summer open-airs, the B-side shifts firmly into club territory, delivering two dancefloor-proven cuts for the night.

The A-side opens with Make Me Feel Excited, an almost disco-tinged summer anthem driven by a distinctive sample. It is followed by Napoliballa, featuring Guya on vocals, a sun-soaked jazzy track with playful rhythms. The side closes with Lighter Days, a moody piano-led track that adds a deeper, more dreamy tone.

The B-side moves into club territory, with Running offering a driving, floor-focused cut led by a bold organ hook, followed by a faster, more club-oriented version of Napoliballa.

PREMIERE: Horsemen - Lighter Days

For our 10th release label boss Querry Veldt returns to the label with 'Intertwined'. A moody record floating inbetween the realms of dub techno & deep house. Atmospheric layers that build and make the track have a progressive feel makes that this tune truely takes you on a journey. Alongside the original there are 2 remixes involved on the EP. One by Roger Gerresen and one by Ghettofaust. Roger's Stripped Dub mix does what it says on the tin and takes a more minimal approach. Focusing on dubby stabs and building them through the track with the right attention to detail gives the track this evolving feel. After the more striped back version from Roger, Ghettofaust brings a more techno twist to the original. With pumpy drums, a groovy bassline & a higher bpm it sets the mood for a more high-energy iteration of the record while maintaining that hypnotic feel. This trio of Intertwined will be out on all major platforms on the 30th of January 2026

Heady French minimal and tech producer Janeret makes his debut on reliable Leeds label 20/20 Vision in early 2026 with four slices of pure late-night propulsion and deep introspection. The French producer stays true to his usual balance of groove and emotion while sculpting a sound that feels weightless yet grounded. It's forward thinking but with some hints of familiarity that makes it all the more engaging from the off. Side A brings the lift as 'Xpress' shimmers with euphoria, while 'Wiggy' locks into a playful, percussive swing. Flip it, and 'A Certain Era' slides into acid-touched reverie before 'Ocean Dreams' drifts home in layered, meditative bliss. This is Janeret at his best.
