Moment Cinetique return with an EP from the multi-talented Andy Ash plus London-based Acuña homie Kristy Harper.

The title track ‘Still Working’ is a slice of infectious, brass-highlighted, sample-looping deep house which Kristy strips back in to a dancefloor ready weapon on her remix.

The diverse EP also includes the off-the-wall ‘Jazz Bwats’ using a climbing double bass groove to create five and half minutes of jazz-infused energy whilst Finger Barre shows off Andy’s wide range of styles with rumbling subs and complex percussion.

PREMIERE: Kid Only - She [GLBDOM]

February 10th 2023 is the release date of the new EP by Tamati and Paul Bart, called ‘Boogie Me’. The promising duo who are definitely starting their adventure with the right attitude, enters the Apparel Family with a brilliant debut record, which represents the thirty-third release of the now consolidated APDEXTRA. The three tracks featured in ‘Boogie Me’ are three portraits of the artist’s musical talent and bring with them a fresh energy that only a new musical project can have. The first, and title track, is a rhythmic explosion with hints of Acid while the second and third are personal versions of the two artists of the track ‘Still Life’, which the pair personally decline in their own way. The structure of the EP is designed to give the listener all the tools to understand the musical characteristics of the two producer but, even without knowing the title of the tracks or having information on the tracklist, the record is highly enjoyable. The result is a danceable, fresh and carefree EP, perfect for starting the new year on the front foot.

Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time (House Remix)

Manchester based imprint Dansu Discs are back once again, this time with a tasty VA rammed full of talent to y'all. The release as whole maintains a fairly hard hitting sample based aesthetic while retaining a gritty underground matte finish - in keeping with both Dansu and the array of artists featured on this release.

This Premiere features Swales with 'Pray 4 U' - bringing as much cheese to the record as it does energy. It's very hard to describe this track without using almost cliched contemporary superlatives - but it really is just a 'straight up heater' and certainly most certainly a jam with the potential to 'fill the floor' (in a club sense and not a grouting one). Anyway - it's a goodun so listen and support by copping a copy and giving Swales & Dansu a follow.
