The ever-reliable FCL aka Belgian house heroes San Soda and Red D are back on the block with this remastered remix package of ‘Can We Try’.

It’s a soul-drenched dancefloor meditation that taps into the timeless tension of love and longing.  With its raw vocal hooks (courtesy of Lady Linn), analog warmth, and stripped-down groove, the original cut is pure FCL: emotionally rich, effortlessly deep, and aimed straight at discerning dance floors.

Bringing fresh heat to the 2014 original, three heavyweights of house and techno step in for remix duties—each reworking the track in their own signature style. First up, Jimpster injects his trademark deep, jazzy finesse, flipping ‘Can We Try’ into a swirling, soulful roller—lush pads, Moog flourishes, and enough swing to keep bodies moving and hearts locked in.

Ben Hixon, the Dallas-based underground wizard, lays down a chunky, hardware-heavy rework full of crunchy drums and woozy funk.  It's lo-fi soul with hi-fi intent. Deetron closes it out with a peak-time bomb—big room pressure, hypnotic bass, intense stabs and the kind of tension-release dynamics that only a true craftsman can deliver.

‘Can We Try’ is a reminder that dance music doesn’t’t need to shout to speak volumes. With this return, FCL prove that their music can truly stand the test of time, sounding as fresh today as when it first dropped over a decade ago.  Lovingly remastered by the man with the golden ears Atjazz!

We’re excited to welcome Austrian talent Max Kernmayer to Esuoh with his debut release on the label: Rewind & Come Again. Known for his versatile and groove-driven productions, Max delivers a refined three-track pack that blends dubby textures, rhythmic precision and melodic depth.

Opening with the title track “Rewind & Come Again”, Max sets the tone with a powerful cut that draws inspiration from soundsystem culture—rolling bass, vocal stabs and a stripped-back arrangement that hits with purpose. “Organ Donor” follows with a more playful yet equally potent energy, combining shuffled drums, quirky synth work and acid-laced elements for a floor-focused ride with UK flavour. Closing the pack is “Royale With Cheese”, a deeper, more hypnotic trip built around warm pads, subtle atmospheres and driving grooves, keeping the energy flowing while revealing Max’s more introspective side.

A dynamic and well-balanced release that reflects both Max’s creative range and Esuoh’s ongoing commitment to forward-thinking club music.

Natural Element proudly presents the long-awaited album The Paradigm Shift by one of Amsterdam’s finest and most prolific producers, Kid Sublime. Following on from the 12” single ‘You Got Me Runnin’’ which dropped in the summer, this 8 track, double LP offering is a special piece of work crafted during the pandemic years and Turbulence recording sessions with maestros Beka Gochiashvili and Mishulino. The album showcases the evolution of Kid Sublime’s sound and the influence of London’s vibrant broken beat scene, with him having connected with some of the artists around the time of the passing of the legendary Phil Asher. It touches on house, bruk and even techno, with his signature soulful touch palpable across the whole record. Features include talented London artist Oliver Night, Sydney-based vocalist Natalie Slade and long time collaborator, flautist Han Litz, amongst others. The Paradigm Shift takes you on a deep sonic journey straight from the heart, celebrating love, connection, spirituality and human evolution. There’s introspective moments with the jazzy house drifter ‘The Awakening’ and the dubbed out bass of ‘Kingz’, as well as joyful moments such as the uplifting ‘Heaven’s Glory’ and the romantic ‘Stay Over’, which is as soulful as it gets. ‘Bring It Come’ brings some minimal bruk flavours reminiscent of Bugz in the Attic, and the title track takes things a bit darker with a club-ready roller. Sitting somewhere between the living room and the dancefloor, this album is sure to enliven the spirits of many a discerning listener and bring some much needed radiance and hope into people’s lives.

PREMIERE: Immersif - Sur le Bord du Soleil (Eloi Remix)

Dam Swindle’s new ‘Backyard Galaxy’ EP is an ode to house music and the classic Swindle sound. 

It’s only been a few months since Dam Swindle released their highly acclaimed album “Open” and already the boys are back on Heist with a new release that takes you right back to the dancefloor. Where they’ve spent the better part of the last 3 years writing their album with all its sonic explorations and collabs, this new EP sees the duo return to their roots of club-ready house music. The ‘Backyard Galaxy’ EP comes with 4 high-energy house tracks made in their Amsterdam studio that have been road-tested all summer.

EP opener “Feel it much?” has all the ingredients of a classic Swindle heater, with warm pads, rich organic percussion and tons of soul. There’s a simple and effective vocal running throughout the track that blends nicely with the classic house elements and electronic textures that are layered throughout the track. There’s an effortless flow to this track and it comes as no surprise that it has been a highlight in their sets this summer. 

The EP title track ‘Backyard Galaxy’ is an up-tempo Latin-themed jam with a hint of old school techno.  The synth stabs hit you just right and the modulated vocal chops are a lovely boost for the build ups and add a touch of swing to a track that already has a tight  groove. Add to that a huge breakdown and drum roll and you’ve got yourself a track that’ll light up any dancefloor.

On the flip, we’re moving into garage territory with the shuffling vibes of ‘Rhythm Baby’. The current popularity of the genre is not missed on Dam Swindle, but when you look closely, you’ll see this track is full of elements that the duo have built their legacy on. The vocal chops, transposed key samples and swing are all on point and work just as well below, as above 130 bpm if speed is your thing.

The EP closes with the NY-style house cut ‘What you give’, which reminds us of Dam Swindle’s remix of Cinthie’s Heist hit ‘Won’t U take me’ with its lush organs and moody keys. It’s perhaps the most classic house track they’ve made in a long time and you can hear they had a great time recording this. It’s playful, vibey and catchy. Just the way we like it.  

Dam Swindle might have delivered one of the standout cross-over albums of 2025, but on this EP the message is clear: Once a househead, always a househead.
