With a background that bridges classic and contemporary references, Leo naturally moves between House, Jazz, Disco, and Soul, bringing to each production the fluency of someone who carries an extensive musical repertoire. In this two-track EP, he condenses Rio’s freshness and the subtlety of jazz in Copa Jazzin’ , while Avec Moi dives into the effervescent energy of disco house, serving as an elegant appetizer of what’s to come in his next full-length project.

Copa Jazzin’ opens the EP as an invitation to a hot summer night in Rio, where the ocean breeze meets the swing of House and the charm of Jazz. Piano lines take the lead, creating a vibrant movement that expands in complexity throughout the arrangement. Pads and stabs intertwine in a playful dance, adding layers of growing and celebratory energy. Vocal cuts delicately wrap up the composition, evoking the classic house aesthetic through subtle details that make all the difference. Avec Moi brings the sparkling energy of disco house in its most danceable form, led by grooves built on the interplay of bassline, synths, and string layers, reinforcing the nuances of disco’s golden era.
