Italian producer and DJ @da_lukas_tracks has a long pedigree in the music industry, cutting his teeth on the release front way back in the early 00's having success under a variety of monikers. 

Since then his music has gently morphed into his current Nu Disco sound for which he is known today and it continues to ebb and flow from disco edits through to completely original Nu disco gems. His latest release see's him land on @ghetto-disco-records with the Real Thing EP which was crafted using a live musicians. The warmth and depth of sound and the endless groove across the EP highlights this perfectly. 

Indeed soundwise the EP is Nu Disco fused with the funk of dancefloor Acid Jazz and it's the perfect antidote to the impending winter up here in the northern hemisphere. Our premier today is Free And Happy with it's ever so funky guitar and keys bouncing back and forwards perfectly across each other. This is a brilliant release for both label and artist showing just how dexterous a producer Da Lukas is. Magic Words, a new project from NY-based producers Eli Cohen and Peter Hargarten, make their debut on RNT with the Wabi Soba EP, a perfect summertime record. If the title track sounds a bit familiar it’s because it’s been in Harvey’s hands for a while and has made many appearances in his sets around the world. Based around an emotive and dreamy loop, the song basically embodies Balearica, dripping with Spanish guitar and wistful, melancholic harmonies.

Toronto’s Jex Opolis turns in a massive remix that preserves all the delicate texture of the original and lays it lovingly over a pulsing clubby drum foundation. Already getting a huge response in the RNT crew’s club sets, this is a special record that’s got some serious summer anthem buzz!

'Do It Like That” is the result of the collaboration between Portuguese virtuosos Ramboiage and C4STRO and comes packed with a refreshing last-days-of-sunshine atmosphere. On the remix duty, none other than label mate 'Gus Paterson', with a splendid take on the track.

This is not Gus Paterson’s first rodeo on Citizens. His previous EPs, “Regole Di Terzi” and “Neritic”, turned the secretive London-based producer into one of the favourite artists of the acclaimed French label.

While Ramboiage & C4STRO’s original distils its magic through 122 BPM, on Gus’s hands “Do It Like That” now shines on delicious 116 and 119 beats per minute. Premiered here, the “Shake” interpretation comes with a more upbeat gait delivered by a frenzied concoction of piano and synth layers topped with frolic laser-like FXs.

Without sidelining his signature Lofi Jazz House, Felipe Gordon comes back with to Nomada Records with :Wolf Slang Amateur Prozac Ep'; a combination of different states of mind where he accomplish to mature his sound and improves his production techniques trhough meticulous sampling, syncopated drums, self vocal arrangements and a detailed composed work using synthesis. Five original tracks and a remix from a new french talent in the Lo-Fi House scene, G2S, make “Wolf Slang Amateur Prozac” the perfect EP for the dance floor.
