Ruff Stuff Music returns with its first release in four years this March, the project sees label head Ruff Stuff releasing material from himself and three other artists, all of which come from the same town, have been friends from many years and share the same love for a particular style of house.

With the ‘70024 Beats Roots Vol.1’, Ruff Stuff welcomes onto the various artist package his ex Ruff Stuff
production partner, now producing under the name of Flaze, Bress Underground and Toysin who debuts this
moniker but is also known for his Techno material under the guise Earwax.

Flaze’s ‘Resolve’ leads the release and lays down an amalgamation of hazy chords, bumpy bass stabs,
wandering strings and stuttering vocal chops atop a swinging drum groove. Bress Underground’s ‘I Bet You’re Wond’rin’ follows next and retains a similarly deep aesthetic, fusing ethereal pads, gritty bass stabs and bright piano sequences with crunchy shuffled drums and cut up vocal lines.

Label boss Ruff Stuff opens the flip-side next with ‘Gut Feel’, bringing a more vintage tinge to things via organ hits, cinematic strings, circling fm synth lines and squelchy acid licks. Toysin’s ‘You Don’t Pass The Exam’ then rounds out the release on a disco house tip via looped and chopped funk-guitar licks, vocal chants and weighty subs, while a weight 4/4 drum groove further fuels the energetic, peak time feel.

From the coziest speakeasy bars to the tastiest late night sandwich counters, New York City is full of delightful secrets that reward those lucky enough to find them. One of Brooklyn’s best kept secrets is Kyle Louis (fka KLM), a talented yet unassuming veteran of the underground house scene who now makes his debut with the Run It Back EP.
The third Fortune Signal label release features Louis’s impeccable original productions, in which he explores a variety of emotions, rhythms, and times of the night. Classic synths, ethereal vocal chops, and subtle dubby effects provide an overall sense of cohesion throughout.The end product is a collection of fresh, contemporary compositions rooted in classic house music language, each track full of the potential to inspire transcendent dancefloor moments. 
Run It Back is a culmination of Kyle Louis’s years spent both in the club and the studio. Louis spent nearly a decade DJing and throwing parties in NYC, sharing stages with the likes of Tom Noble, Jacques Renault, and Juan MacLean before taking a break to refocus his energy on production. His past disco edits, beloved by the DJs fortunate enough to get their hands on them, have given him an innate understanding of dance music fundamentals. These experiences have served as the foundation for Kyle Louis’s creative voice as he ushers in this exciting new chapter of his understated but vital musical journey.

On remix duties is Will Buck, a producer, DJ, and label boss well known in the NYC and Miami dance music communities, with releases on such labels as Shall Not Fade, Pleasant Systems, and Whiskey Disco. Buck flips “Should I Go?” into a down and dirty house banger that’s driven by a forceful breakbeat and punctuated with a sinister rhodes melody.

The EP starts off with “Raw Meat” Shortcut’s take on the New York sound. The track is a mix between a classic house stab, punchy drums and a well chopped Hip Hop acapella giving it its raw and pure energy.

Up Next Marc’s track “Is Love A Game“ with this track, Marc is giving us a lush sound with jazzy chords and refreshing riffs which spread an infectious energy throughout the track.

On B2 Latent’s second release “Watch My Attitude” latent is giving us a belter, creating the perfect balance between soulfulness and deeper sounds. A groove that definitely has his own vibe.

Ending up with Brooklyn’s Baby track, “Only You” reminds us of the classic house divas vocal performance. Alongside a hypnotic bass and an emotional piano brooklyn spice up the last bars with an acid lines fitting the track perfectly.

Sengiley Recordings is pleased to present the new release - a remix compilation of a great Stingray EP by French multi-instrumentalist Balazers. It includes the work of growing European producers - Italian Brine, Dutch HATT. D and French Naconda. These creative personalities were able to give new life to Blazers tracks by adding their unique style and sound.

One notable example of this original sound is a remix by Naconda. This track will impress you with its melodies and live sounds - the guitar performed by Eric Arruabarrena adds an even greater sense of depth and emotion. Brine, in turn, gave the track a great dynamic and fat with a broken drama party in the style of Broken house, making it even more energetic. HATT.
