TBR007 welcomes label owners RSquared providing us with their ‘Saaandboy’ EP. 

Having their sights set on a peak time roller, they certainly delivered with this one. ‘Saaandboy’ supplies us with rolling percussion, a groovy baseline and tantalising vocals, almost giving us a flashback of 2016 tech house with their ‘music on’ inspired twist. 

The B side ‘Clear’ imagines a warehouse setting, skippy percussion, minimal vocals and a thumping bassline sure to rip apart any club sound system. Encapsulating the darker side of tech house, this one comes locked and loaded for any warehouse raves.

Underground powerhouse Darius Syrossian is back on Griffintown with a pair of brand new cuts. Darius needs no introduction with a wide array of huge hits in the past on the likes of Hot Creations, Defected, Toolroom and his own Moxy Muzik.

Go Insane opens up with typically robust drums and powerful bass. Spoken words bring extra atmosphere and then bright, futuristic synths are warm and soulful as they ride above the grooves. Voices then drops down into a slinky and sleazy house groove. The loopy drums and diva vocals, prickly percussion and rubbery bass are all exquisitely designed and sure to get dance floors locked right in. 

This is another masterclass from Darius Syrossian.

Born and raised in Düsseldorf artist, NERE. is the one who signed the ninetieth extended play called 'One House Dedicated'. 3 bangers from minimal to powerful house beats. 'House Like' where the acid synth and alarm effects take center stage. Well known German, Chris Di Perri made a remix to this first track. Another two smart and groovy at the same time micro-house tunes 'Dedicated' and 'No One' complete the EP.

Record label boss 'Raized' drops his bomb EP on February with 'Gimminaz & the walking giant ' ML013 . These two gems are continuing the heat for 2024. We found gimminaz to have a magic classic vocal reference from the 70's and The Walking Giant to have a mixture of deep percussive rhythms and environmental sounds. To highlight artist career and sound , there has been an evolution of sound given out to the dancefloor and very supported by top international djs. On 2023.. Raized highlights are placed on events such as Music On, Lost beach and Musical Latina showcase as well as placing a couple of tracks from his catalog on top 10 charts. As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

Mason Collective are Manchester’s undisputed leaders of the underground house scene. The outfit have been turning heads since 2014 with their fiery, tech informed house music, their always sold out MVSON events, and their undeniable influence on the city’s underground culture. After countless releases, remixes, and sold out parties in Manchester, London and Ibiza, Mason Collective are back with Mars Bar EP on Solid Grooves – one of the UK’s finest house and techno labels. A masterful offering of intoxicating grooves and jittering beats, Mars Bars perfectly highlights what the guys do best: tasteful, rich and unabated underground house primed to bring in the vibes wherever its played.

Having climbed to the top of Beatport with releases on the likes of Wow and Blackflag Recordings, Mason Collective’s rise to the top has been swift. The guys have been supported by The Martinez Brothers, Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones and Danny Howard to name a few. Their lustrous remix for Bipolar Sunshine’s Major Love was a firm favourite and they’ve recently sold out a debut MVSON party in London. Add to this their recent collaboration with Mancunian purveyors of streetwear Gramm, a guest appearance on Danny Howard’s Friday night Radio 1 show, and it’s easy to see what all the fuss is about. 

Mars Bar EP offers a perfect picture of Mason Collective’s inimitable club sound. A-side Mars Bar fuses hypnotic, undulating low end with infectious hi-end percussion for a cut as danceable as it is layered. B-side Dance Lesson dresses its crushing low-end energy with ricocheting sound fx and chopped-up vocals, sure to get dancers moving – from Manchester to Ibiza and beyond.
