Born out of the Santa Cruz underground forest party scene, Masonic began to DJ after being inspired by DJ groups such as Stay Deep, Lazer Sword, Simian Mobile Disco, and the Dub Pirates. In 2009 Masonic began learning the art of DJ'ing spending hours glued to the decks. 

In 2010 Masonic hosted his own radio show at 90.5 KSJS in San Jose and gained a cult following on late night radio playing an unique selection of tracks.

In the 2012 Masonic moved to San Francisco to become engulfed in the San Francisco Ungerground electronic scene, and works with a number of independent producers and MODOC Records.

Masonic is heavily influenced by Techno (Detroit & Berlin), Juke, Acid House, Electro, & Hip-hop.
