I was on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory back in April 2005. My boss at the radio station thought I was making this all up and he was about to terminate me and I told him I had it recorded and could prove it was real; this very tape, saved my job!

Giving away tickets for Dem Franchise Boyz - I went down to the mall in an unmarked station vehicle wearing only a Hot 975 Tshirt - Listeners had to come find me and sign their name and phone number onto the t-shirt I was wearing. I then went back to the studio and whichever names on the t-shirt got hit by the paintball gun won tickets to the concert! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Mike and on the air I am known as Mike Mason. Presently I work with a country radio station in Casselton, ND (KVMI 103.9 The Truck). I have been working in radio for 11 years and counting now. I have worked in multiple formats and have done a little bit of everything from on air announcing to station imaging and production. One thing I have never done, that I would like to do, is gain some experience as a sports play by play announcer!
