What a Year

Mason Wav (Mason Risser) is a rapper born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He grew up surrounded by music all his life but didn’t get involved with hip hop until the age of 15. It started with off the top freestyles in his car for hours and recently turned into his first record.
At the age of 24, 2020 was his first year creating music for the masses. Mason brought it upon himself to build a personal in home studio along with putting together his own talented team. He works alongside his producer, Filament Beatz and his mixing/mastering engineer, Shordeli (Bryan Shortell). He also claims to be heavily influenced by NF, Witt Lowry, Hopsin and other artists alike.
Mason accrued well over 50,000 streams in his first 6 months of being an artist. All of which were personally marketed by him. He shattered the coveted first 1,000 streams less than one week after releasing his first single “They Didn’t Know”.
