Masoud Simaei (born 31 October 1988) is an Iranian musician, songwriter, and record producer, and field recording artist. Currently a solo artist, he was the founder, multi-instrument, and songwriter of the band Mazurka.
He is a self-taught composer, producer, audio engineer, guitar and keyboard player, and plays other instruments as needed, including bass guitar, saxophone, and flute. His influences and work have encompassed a diverse range of genres including psychedelia, progressive rock, and electronic, among others, shifting his musical direction through his albums Mercitron 2018
He released his first solo album, Mercitron, on 10 October 2018.
