The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from EXIX. Originally from Turkey, EXIX has played a crucial role in developing the underground techno scene in Istanbul by organizing both legal and illegal parties. His debut single, “Revenge Phantasies”, quickly gained recognition in Germany’s techno scene and EXIX’s music is a reflection of his love for hard-hitting kicks, sensitive melodies, and groovy percussion, resulting in dynamic mixes that are sure to keep the dance floor moving. He is also a PhD candidate and machine learning researcher in computational chemistry, reflecting his unique perspective on the intersection of science and art. Today we are thrilled to present his powerful journey through his sound.

MØRK (Bergen/Oslo, NO)
MØRK has been a part of the techno scene in Norway for over a decade, playing at everything from festivals to forest raves, and clubs including The Villa, Jaeger, Storgata26, Landmark, and Lokal Bar Trondheim. 

She is a resident DJ at the club concept Femmes Fatales, as well as the Bergen-based ‘Foundation by Krill’.

Her surname, “Mørk”, meaning “dark” in Norwegian, offers a clue as to her style of music: the dark and driving techno that both hit you in the gut and accelerate your heart rate, while simultaneously catapulting you onto the dance floor.

Coming from the heavier side of live music, he has since developed a style that takes elements from Metal, Trap, and even Avant-garde Pop, Always balanced with some raw sound, giving his music a feeling of controlled chaos.

Inspired by life's dualities, he doesn't stop his artistic expression with music. Having a big passion for many aspects of the visual arts, he tells his stories with Sound&Light.

Based in Warsaw, this Turkish music producer and DJ has already established herself as a prominent figure in the Polish music scene. Her performances in Berlin, Tresor, Kiev, and Basel have garnered attention across Europe. With a penchant for boldness and uncompromising artistic expression, she seamlessly blends hard and industrial sounds in her DJ sets while exploring a more cinematic and experimental style in her productions. Her debut EP, "SELEM," was released under the Polish label The Behind The Stage, and she recently followed up with her second EP, "Against Ignorance," under Georgian label Innergate Records. RAMKKA is a DJ and producer from Ireland who has been fascinated with techno since he was a teenager. His love for the genre developed after seeing Dave Clarke many years ago and he has been DJing since then, with his production career coming in more recent years.

His brand of techno is dark, hard, and industrial, with fast-paced heaviness and smooth transitions. With many releases on labels across Europe and worldwide, he has quickly become known for his own sound and plans on bringing it to a bigger audience in 2024.

In addition to this, RAMKKA has recently co-founded Immortal Nights, an event series showcasing the harder side of techno. The events have been met with great success among fans, and there are many exciting plans in store for the future.

He has also received excellent feedback and support from artists such as Amelie Lens, Shlomo, Drumcomplex, Varya Karpova, Wallis and many more.

He currently holds a residency at Mass London and cannot wait to be able to truly express himself and his sound on a dancefloor.
