This single made us understand what Drifter does best —create intangible soundscapes, followed by immersive feelings that are represented by the contemplation behind his harmonies and melodies. The pianos dance around an empirical atmosphere full of beautiful insights and small disappointments. The raw, irenic voice chases all the drum processing from the loud amen breaks that fit perfectly into this comforting take on UK Garage.
