My friends!! ...please enjoy my sunrise set from Disorient at Burning Man 2013.  The man had just burnt and the playa was at his highest capacity ever.  The set began in the darkness and the sun came up right around 2:08:00...and if you listen close enough, you can hear the one-more-song chant that broke out around 2:47:00.  

I want to personally thank Disorient for having me and for the amazing people who danced along...your energy was the best medicine.

I have been DJ’ing since I was 6 or 7 I spent many hours playing my parents 78 collection in the attic, on their victrola. 
High School provided many basement black light parties, where I would emulate the DJ’s I heard down in the bars I snuck into in Atlantic City. The first extended dance music such as Donna Summer’s Love To Love You , Barry White and The Love Unlimited Orchestra’s Love Theme, Barabas, Woman and so began my DJ’ing in my college Dorm and house parties taking it to the next level of hearing disco and club music in the NYC dance clubs and summer’s in the P-Town clubs with DJ’s like Jacqui Macq of
The Pied Piper and the longest running residency I believe ever anywhere of The Atlantic House. I would return from these venues and buy everything I loved that I could find that I heard playing in the bars and clubs I danced in. Bringing the music back to my friends in New Brunswick, NJ where I went to college and remained afterwards for its club culture and proximity to NYC.
I met a guy named Brian E. Errico one night when playing my club dance mixes at the legendary,  Melody Bar, who came over to me with a small stash of albums under his arm, and the fact that he was a friend of my best friend Morris Kafka, Yhea related to Frans Kafka, the fact he was drop dead gorgeous; I let him offer me an album which he whispered put this on after that one you’re playing and I was on a roll and worried this unknown record and person would be my nights undoing ; went ahead and laid down this song called Blue Monday... ha!!! The room of packed college and post college students went wild, I was taken aback too; I loved whatever this was and he kept offering me more of these unknown to me records which had all the people at the packed bar, now out on the dance floor this was the beginning of mixing New Wave Alt with the latest House and Club Mixes. So much fun! Such a broad spectrum of music to entice willing dancers onto the floor.
