Based in the heart of Slovenia, Ljubljana’s Boris sound system crew & culture collective ‘Massive!’ steps forth with more serious pressure. A force to be reckoned with, keeping it strictly dubwise. For their second release, the bold imprint presents two massive cuts by Dub originator Satta Yard.

‘Ambush’ kicks off in mysterious style, engulfing listeners in authentic instrumentation and lively progression. Vintage synth arpeggios keep time with the militant percussion and skank. Brace for impact as anthem-like brass stabs unearth the gargantuan low-frequency foundation. 

Propelled by Satta Yard’s authoritative usage of classic FX - the music keeps true to the roots of the Jamaican Dub. Blessed by an even more assertive version on the flip-side, we’re met by gratuitous amounts of bass and a stripped down soundscape - sure to slay the dance. System music, as it should be.

Setting course for the subsequent series of Dub-infused musical splendor, Massive! unveils yet another ace up their sleeves. Following up on Satta Yard's recent, sublime bass-weight excursion, their next promising talent Green&Tall takes control of the mixing desk. Emerging out of the Slovenian Dub landscape, yet another stellar stepper's delight hits the global airwaves as the roots-conscious artist sets forth a sound system scorcher, paired up with the obligatory, infernal version.

'Skankin' Shapes' sets off into the Jamaican sunset, vocal fragments hurling towards reverberating, lively skanks. Analog-infused sonic flavors cross path with its modern counterpart, delay trails leading us towards the in-arguably driving bass-line. Amidst the pressure of oscillating air, we find ourselves thrown into a meticulously crafted vintage Dub arrangement style, hurling us from one chord to the next - the foundation steadily reassuring our unshakable desire to move our bodies to the drums and bass of Green&Tall.
