Uone...this nice fella and colorful bird from Melbourne, is already with one foot in Berlin, where he appears regular every summer, since the last few years, to rock the city.
Just right in time before his next tour, he comes up with his second release on Tonkind, but this time as a solo work and with great remixes as supplement.
The title track „ Gang Of Snortels“ is a up-lifting bumpin Tech House tune with a duby organic drive and catchy patterns. Always in motion like a twister on it‘s journey. „Groove Like That“ appears not with less energy but rather friendly laid back and more melodic with wonderful piano keys.
As bonbon Yapacc is contributing a tripping remix version of „ Gang Of Snortles“. Here he shows in best manner, how to keep up the tension and flow in a track, by modulating endless waving synths.

🔴 Episode #37 feels electrifying as it comes with a blessing from one of the Techno Godfathers. There are not many other Techno music heroes like DJ Rush for us! We totally agree with Daft Punk and their track “Teachers”, considering Rush a hallmark in the industry. Having his support really means the world to us (remember his “Let Me Here You” on Supporter Series Vol. 003?).
Now he also recorded an energetic DJ set exclusively for our podcast series, proving once more why his name is synonymous with the original and real Techno!

Stockholm based Mikael Nordgren, aka Tiger Stripes has slowly but surely built up a solid international career as a prestigious and well sought after underground producer, remixer and DJ.

The Swedish has one of the deepest discographies in house and techno, marked by an ear for deep grooves, dynamic arrangements and cleverly utilised vocals. In a career spanning 15 years, those-in-the-know won’t argue: he’s one of the industry’s most dependable and creative talents.

As Tiger Stripes he has travelled every corner of the world playing his techno and gritty tech house. Mikael has played legendary clubs like Panorama Bar, Space Ibiza and Watergate and his music has been released by heavyweight underground labels, like Drumcode, Desolat and Hot Creations and he has collaborated with legends like Kerri Chandler, Adeva, Leroy Burgess and Jerome Sydenham.
