This song is also quite dark, but I literally came up with the words after I recorded "Let me fall". It has more to do with an ex but the lines "Laying on the floor, I can’t take much more, I wanna take some pills, But I know it aint right" are about how I once was so depressed that I was on the floor thinking got myself "God I wish I could get on some pills to make everything feel right" but then also knowing inside that I couldn't do that to my friends and family, I couldn't let them go through the pain of me getting addicted to pills. the title came from when i recorded the first version i repeated the line "It doesn't have to be that hard" and i ended up making it the chorus cause it just felt so right.
