This was built off the original MIDI file I sent to Sonictweaker, with some improvements, because the sounds I used to first time through were pretty grody, to say the least!

I finished this a long time ago and all that was left to do was adjust the fade out for like 3 months. True laziness.

Anyway, I'm a poseur so the sounds I used were FMDRIVE, VOPM, FM7, GXSCC and NES VST. PCM drums are a bunch of arcade and X68k samples layered.

This is my arrangement of the Mount Wario theme, taken from the soundtrack of Mario Kart 8 on Wii U, and originally composed by Shiho Fujii, Atsuko Asahi, Ryo Nagamatsu, and Yasuaki Iwata for Nintendo. This is my favorite from the entire OST, it's magnificently set up as a multi-parts race backing song, and has this speed vibe that pumps you up !

I had the great pleasure to work with 3 other musicians on this one : I first asked Matthew Mukerjee, from Tetrimino if I was okay to play bass, and we quickly discussed adding more live instruments, namely violin, which would be played by Michaela Nachtigall, also from Tetrimino, and brass, by Marc Papeghin ! On the mastering side, this time I left the song into the hands of one of my local friends, who runs Studio Karma in Marseilles. The project took a few months to reach total completion, but heck it was worth it. Enjoy !

Avalanche Speed [Mario Kart 8 Mount Wario arrangement]

Float Islands is a track from Kirby's Dreamland which shows up in many other games but NOT in Kirby 64. It's instead replaced by a similar track titled Aqua Star. I made this arrangement to show how Float Islands might sound if it somehow made it into Kirby 64, and I think it turned out sounding pretty nice. Enjoy!
