This is the newest version of my Goldfinger remix "Safe 'N' Sane Skater Heaven Superman".

After taking some time off from making new music in order to finalize my concept of a new mixing style and get used to my new Yamaha MSP 3 professional studio monitors (which are perhaps some of the most accurate and truthful studio monitors in the world, and definitely professional tools for mixing and sound engineering), I am now back with the latest version of my remix for the "Superman" soundtrack, originally composed by the punk rock and ska punk band Goldfinger, to demonstrate the progress of my new mixing concept.

The big goal of my new mixing concept is the production of very clean and dynamic soundtracks without the use of compressors and limiters for the best possible sound quality within a soundtrack which feels much more alive, moving and natural.
In my opinion, the mixings of modern soundtracks should be similar like the really good and highly dynamic mixings of the early 80s and the decades before, long time before the loudness war of the modern music industry kicked in and provoked a kinda nasty and dull trend of producing louder and louder records (just to get noticed like an intrusive but mindless commercial) to the disadvantage of dynamics, the natural behaviour of transients, sound quality and the pleasure of the listening experience.

In the future, I want to prove that this kind of dynamic mixing concept works with all kinds of music genres, even electronic music and metal.

With the EBU R 128 loudness standards, developed by truly farsighted audio engineers to counteract the loudness war phenomenon, I got a solid foundation for my ambition to create clean and dynamic soundtracks without using signal-degrading compressors or limiters.
Even without using compressors and limiters, I don't have to worry about the signal peaks in the master track, as they barely scratch the -5 dB mark.

Soundtrack productions mastered at EBU R 128 loudness standards may be produced just half as loud (much like the soundtracks of the early 80s) as most modern soundtracks (still, remember: "The listener owns the volume knob.").
But they have the great potential to sound much better than their compressed versions, which often contain more elements of bloody sound surgery than sophisticated sound design.

And...
You won't have these nasty loudness jumps between different tracks, different music genres oder different audio programs in general if you master your tracks at EBU R 128 standards.

The original track, on which I based this remix, became quite famous with the Playstation game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (also called "Tony Hawk's Skateboarding" in some countries).
And since I really digged this song when I played the game as a teenager, I decided to use my new mixing skills and my new professional studio tools to create a kinda worthy remix of this track.

So, I put a lot of time, effort, passion and inner fire into the new composition of this remix, and I really had a lot of fun creating it with my own musical style, which in this case consists of a nice alternation of ambient soundscapes, heavy rock parts and some casual jazzy lines.

This soundtrack is the newest (and maybe even the final) version of my remix for the original song "The Price Of Freedom" from the PSP game Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, which was originally composed by Takeharu Ishimoto.

I haven't uploaded any new soundtrack or remix content of mine in the last two years because I've been particularly dedicated to developing my mixing concept, which I call "Life Force", to be able to present my compositions and remixes at a much higher level of quality.

This mixing concept, which I have developed over the last years, is primarily aimed at bringing much more clarity, a more natural, organic sound, much better dynamics, more atmosphere and spatiality back into the mix through sophisticated depth gradation and unique mixing techniques.

But I have also developed my compositional skills over the last few years, which I wanted to show in this heartfelt remix project.

Not only did I make the dynamics and playing style of the existing instruments much more lively, natural and artistically elevated, I also recorded numerous new instruments and composed completely new passages to deepen the atmosphere of the remix even further and steer it in more specific directions.

The early musical part with harp, strings and bells is primarily intended to emphasize the heaviness, sadness and tragedy of the approaching death of the main character Zack Fair, while his girlfriend Aerith apparently also suspects this at this moment or has been told this by the planet itself.
This part becomes a little more powerful a little later with the introduction of the acoustic guitar and a slightly more intense way of playing the instruments.

The section with the brass instruments such as trumpets in combination with an almost fanfare-like solo trumpet, followed by powerful French horns, is intended above all to emphasize the heroic side of Zack's self-sacrificing final battle against a veritable superior force of hostile Shinra troops, which presumably saved the life of his friend and companion Cloud, who was still incapacitated at the time, suffering from severe Mako poisoning.

A slight musical change then takes place with the new electric guitar part, which transforms the previous orchestral part of the remix into an increasingly intensifying power ballad, which, in addition to driving power chords, also contains very beautiful melodic electric guitar leads, piano arpeggios as well as a Spanish guitar, all of which together are intended to illustrate once again the extremely liberating feeling that the main character Zack might have felt at the end of his hero's journey.

For the soundscape and the mixing of the electric guitars, I drew a little inspiration from the really atmospheric electric guitar sounds in the song "Everytime We Touch", sung by Maggie Reilly.

And for the final part of the remix, I composed an additional harp section to symbolize the path of the inner heaven that Zack has obviously taken, because he has always pursued his big dream of becoming a real hero with his heart in the right place, without forgetting the high value of honour, friendship, helpfulness and humanity.

In this sense, the title of my remix "Wings Of Freedom" does not stand for any small-minded, money-focused libertarian ideas or for one-sided freedom without justice, but rather for the freedom of the heart within the power of the unleashed soul, which allows some people in difficult situations and hard times to take not always the easiest but the right path, which fully convinces them, literally flows through them and gives them wings.

In late summer 2024, after a long time, I fulfilled a big wish and finally bought my first electric guitar for my small home studio, a pretty versatile Ibanez Gio GRG140 in a really stylish white.

At the time, I didn't have much time to learn how to play the electric guitar more intensively.
But at least I was able to familiarize myself a little more closely with the electric guitar, its construction, its functions, its care, etc., and I was able to make the strings of the electric guitar sound quite official and play a few notes using the really good guitar amp plugin Vandal in my DAW Samplitude Pro X4 Suite.

And the melody I play in this video was basically the first melody I was able to play reasonably well after just a few hours of practice.
It's a slightly modified melody from the soundtrack “The Price of Freedom” from one of my absolute favorite video games called Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, or rather the remake Crisis Core - Final Fantasy 7 Reunion (the short video footage I used here is from the remake version of the game).

The original song “The Price of Freedom” was written by Takeharu Ishimoto.

In the summer of 2025, I finally started learning to play the electric guitar with the help of a specialist book, which also included additional online content with illustrative video material for practicing electric guitar playing and actively playing as a solo artist or in a band.

I usually only practice a few hours a month.
But I feel that even as a complete beginner, I have already made some progress.

For example, I have already learned a few important basics, such as theoretical principles relating to electric guitars, the different types of electric guitars, various types of guitar amplifiers, the correct posture for playing electric guitar, and how to read tablature.

I've also learned some practical skills, such as tuning the strings, correctly grabbing individual strings in different frets, playing with a pick (which was also used in this video), alternate picking, the basics of playing individual notes rhythmically, and the practical use of a metronome.

The first power chords are probably already on the learning plan.
Of course, out of curiosity, I have already tried my hand at playing more complex chords, but so far I have failed because I am not yet very good at grabbing the chords correctly, I obviously don't hold my fingers in the optimal position, and I usually end up accidentally muting neighboring strings with my fingers.

But I'm definitely not going to let that discourage me, because practice makes perfect (or at least better), as we all know.

And my musical journey into the world of electric guitar playing has only just begun.

However, I was very proud of the live result in this video, even though it took me around 50 takes or recording attempts until the electric guitar playing on my Ibanez Gio GRG140-WH was kinda flawless and the use of various playing techniques finally met my expectations to the extent that I was really satisfied with it.

On this new and exciting journey, Master Mi will once again become the inquisitive student Mi and is already looking forward to his potential progress in the coming years and the many interesting opportunities that will arise for the future, especially in the field of music composition for soundtracks and remixes.


I could almost say:

Actually, I was just looking for a good audio version of the German intro theme for the Japanese-French anime series Ulysses 31 (Odysseus 31).
The soundtrack was originally composed by Denny Crockett and Ike Egan.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a consistently good audio version of it anywhere on the internet.
Sometimes the audio resolution was terrible, other versions had strange crackling noises and really annoying white noise, and in one version, a completely foreign and not particularly pleasant-sounding passage had obviously been added at one point.

As a self-taught sound engineer and hobby music producer with a comprehensively equipped DAW called Samplitude Pro X4 Suite and professional sound equipment in my home studio, I wanted to solve this problem myself and create the best possible version of the German intro theme from Ulysses 31.

I proceeded as follows:

1) I selected two of the highest quality versions of the theme with the highest audio resolution and the fewest errors and audio artefacts that I could find on the internet, loaded them into my DAW, synchronised them precisely to the wavelength and also adjusted the volume levels of both audio files.

2) Then I selected the best passages from both audio files, separated them at appropriate points in waveform synchronisation, removed the poorer passages, kept the good passages, and then combined them on two tracks to create a well-edited new audio work, in order to have a reasonably solid basic version of the soundtrack.

3) After that, I used various plugins to remove the existing crackles and clicks and reduced the annoying white noise background to a level that was no longer really audible without any audible loss of sound brilliance.

4) Finally, I slightly lowered some excessive frequencies in the bass range using a narrow-band peak EQ filter, which even improved the clarity of the sound a little.

I hope you like the improved version.

Since I master all my soundtracks and uploads uniformly to around -23 dBFS according to the groundbreaking EBU R 128 loudness standard, and since this would be very quiet when inserted into a playlist full of conventionally mastered soundtracks, I have also created a version that is approximately 6 dB louder (mastered to around -17 dBFS) and uploaded it to my Google Drive.

This is a little rock remix of the opening theme "I Wanna Be The Very Best" from the Pokémon anime series.
It's my first remix of an anime soundtrack after making a few remixes for several videogame soundtracks.

I'm not the typical die-hard fan of Pokémon, but I kinda loved the anime when I was a child - pretty fluffy and hearty stuff with a nice touch of adventure.
Some time ago, I listened to the opening theme of the anime once again which has a really decent melody I still like - and I thought this could be a nice track for improving my virtual guitar skills.

So, I've put some effort into the articulation of every single guitar note. Sometimes I thought for hours about where the different articulations or playing techniques (like long played notes, hammer-ons, tappings, slides or some FX guitar sounds) might fit best within just a short guitar sequence. 
But I got into it after some time and I think this helped me to improve my music production skills a little bit - especially for creating much more realistic guitar sounds.
Thanks to my really awesome virtual guitar amplifier Vandal, I could give the guitar sound its totally unique style and make a decent final touch with only a little bit hall reverb and a little bit more pinging stereo delay - a really good combination for reverberant but also strong, assertive guitar sounds.

I also enjoyed working a bit more with the MIDI velocity dynamics to bring more life and vibrance into the track - but it's still pretty tough for me to find the right balance between the MIDI velocity dynamics of the different tracks within a composition.
A velocity value change of just 10 out of 127 can make a perceivable difference between hearing single notes in the whole mix and not noticing or at least not feeling them anymore.
But I will work on this much more in the future.

Just as usual I've mastered this remix at EBU R 128 loudness standards and used absolutely no compressors or limiters for keeping the full dynamic range and best possible sound quality.

Some time ago, I had the strong urge to make a remix for the good ol' Battle Arena Toshinden series.
For me the Battle Arena Toshinden games were some of the few beat 'em up & fighting games which really managed to combine a great gameplay with fascinating characters, nice special effects, a decent background story and radically awesome soundtracks.

So, I decided to create a remix for Sho's theme from Battle Arena Toshinden 2.
Because Sho is a really overpowered, strong, fast, self-confident warrior blessed with an unshakeable life force and a wide variety of special moves on the one hand and a centered, self-possessed and elegant character on the other hand, I decided to handle the remix like this.

I really like the result.
So, the remix contains smartly classical parts like the famous piano intro (originally it's a part from "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach), a string part and a saxophone part, for example - as well as pretty heavy and bassy rock sections and other powerful, melodic counterparts.

In this version 1.2 I've made some great changes.

First of all, I could improve the sound quality with a new mixing method I've developed by myself a bit.

Then I've made a few changes at the drums section.
For the drums I've composed some varieties and worked much more with the velocity dynamics.

I've also changed the saxophone and used one with a much better fitting sound and new settings that fit the flair of the Battle Arena Toshinden games very well. I've changed a few notes within the saxophone part as well.

The probably greatest changes I've made was the final guitar part.
There, I've not only added a new heavy metal power guitar to support the bass and rhythm.
I've also created a much more intense electric guitar part with some new notes and loads of hot articulations which might burn through your spine - brings much more fire in the final part of the track.

For the future I plan to enlarge this track by a remixed version of Sho's theme from Battle Arena Toshinden 3 - this tune is already really badass in the original version.

This might be hard - but it seems to be a great opportunity to improve my creative composition skills and get some kind of an absolute pitch.

This is a remix of Dave's theme from the really freaky NES graphic adventure video game Maniac Mansion.
I really love this tune since my awesome childhood days.
And now, as an ongoing video game music remixer I finally had the great opportunity to make a driving remix out of the original music.
Since Maniac Maniac was one of my very first NES games it's pretty memorable stuff for me.

My remix of Dave's theme begins pretty calmly with some classical intruments like piano - but goes into rock mode later on.

For this updated version 1.1 I've made following changes:

1) I've written some new notes for a little piano intro and I've used my new Vita Concert Grand piano VSTi for this one. 
2) I've also exchanged some VSTis for some better fitting ones. So, instead of using my Vita Century Guitar with steel strings at one track in the mix I've chosen a much more euphonious acoustic folk guitar with nylon strings. This goes much better with this melodic part of the track.
3) I've worked much more on the velocities of each track and implemented a few volume automations and fades. 
4) I also had to set up a whole new mixing. The master track is maintained at EBU R 128 loudness standards. And - of course - no compressors or limiters were used in this track.  
5) I've created some new preluding drum and power guitar stuff at the little part just before the soundtrack turns into a much more driving rock beat.
6) Besides the brand-new piano intro the other big change was the creation of the rocking part towards the final of the soundtrack.
For this one I've added my Vita Power Guitar for the bass line as well as an electric guitar with various articulations for the lead melody.   
7) And finally, I've made a video with some in-game scenes from the German NES version of Maniac Mansion for my YouTube upload. The gameplay scenes are from my own walkthrough with exactly the team of individuals I totally liked when I played this game as a child. I guess there's not much else that goes more than having a boss with a cool theme music, a skilled nerd and an aspiring musician in your band... eh.. in your team, of course.

I hope the die-hard fans and all others will like it.
And of course - just like most of you in your over-excited childhood days - I was also shittin' bricks of fear in these days when the unhealthily blue-coloured Nurse Edna was reaching for my innocent hands.   
But I guess that's exactly what a true hero has to risk in order to save his girlfriend and prevent that her cute brain gets sucked out completely.

Besides, the NES version for Dave's theme song (also called "The Boys Are Still Back - by Fat Patty" in the game) was obviously a musical parody of the song "The Boys Are Back In Town" made by the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy.

Some time ago I had the idea to create a new VSTi-based guitar sound of a raw (slightly distorted) clean electric guitar in the typical style of the 80s with my awesome guitar amplifier Vandal.

I decided to make an entire remix of the opening theme of a former TV series which I really liked in these days.
I've chosen the opening theme of Baywatch - not just because of the lovely babes 'n' boobs stuff but also 'cause of the very melodic composition. I really like the interesting piano part.
The original of my remix - a song named „I'm Always Here“ - was made by the band Jimi Jamison's Survivor with the singer Jimi Jamison himself. 

It took me some time to find the right VSTis 'n' synthesizers for this track, to correct the notes for the guitar stuff and to create some fitting playing techniques, setting up the drums or finding the right expressions for the piano part wherefore I've used a sustain pedal connected to my MIDI keyboard.
After arranging and mixing it several times and listening to this track on different sound systems I'm pretty satisfied with the results now.
I really like the counterparts between the clean electric guitar and the pop brass trumpets as well as the leading piano part towards the end.

In this new update of my remix I've made following further changes:

1) First of all, I've set up a whole new mixing and used a really wide stereo field for a much cleaner sound - especially for the sake of the piano parts.
2) I've changed some VSTi settings at nearly each virtual instrument and synthesizer in the soundtrack and I worked much more on the velocity and humanisation of the notes for a more meaningful and natural sound. 
3) I've improved the sound and the composition/notation of the standard piano parts.
4) Of course I've created a much better sounding and more atmospheric piano part - the piano part towards the end.
5) And finally, I've put a bit more fire and variety in the ordinary drums section. For the beginning as well for the ending of my remix I used some pretty hot 'n' heavy industrial percussion VSTi stuff from my Independence Pro library. 

A soundtrack really made for celebrating summer time.

If I remember correctly, this must be my forth year now since I've started with music production.
After getting a new - very energy-saving and silent - high-end PC with Intel Core i7-6700 Skylake processor system, 32 GB DDR4 RAM with 2133 Mhz, USB 3.1 technology and 2 TB HDD - and after pushing my music production skills to the next level, I want to show ya what is possible when it comes to my soundtracks and remixes.

So, I decided to create an update of my - in my opinion - formerly worst remix and make some kind of a new generation track out of this one.
I'm pretty satisfied with the results and I see the new version of my Balrog theme remix as a really good improvement with much more variety and complexity compared to the previous version.

I've made following changes in the new version of the track:

1) Instead of the saxophone part I decided to take some pop brass which sound a little bit deeper and less joyful - quite perfect for a boxer like Balrog. I also changed a few notes and velocities in this part.
2) Furthermore I've chosen another piano that fits much better and I've made a few changes at the notes and velocities there. 
3) The same goes for the strings. I've worked a little bit with the notes and velocities in this section, too.  
4) In addition I have changed the notes and velocities within the drums section - sounds much better and much cleaner and the transitions between the different parts of the track are much better now.
5) I've created two really nice electronic synth-style counterparts with a bright, much more complex melody – the first one before the middle of the track and second one as a boosted version for the final part of the track.
6) One of the probably most amazing things I've created in this version is the epic orchestral part with the tough industrial percussion that turns into a smooth string part afterwards. It took me some hours to compose just the epic drum section - but I'm glad I did this stuff for the orchestral part. 
7) Finally, I've made a video for this soundtrack with in-game fighting scenes of Balrog from Ultra Street Fighter 4 and with some decent training and fighting scenes of the legendary boxer Mike Tyson.

In the Japanese version of the Street Fighter game series the boxer Balrog is called M. Bison (while Master Bison is Vega and Vega is named Balrog) there - some kind of a parody of the real-life boxer Mike Tyson who could really hit like a bison.

Compared to the mostly moneygrubbing and strong boxer Balrog the real-life boxer Mike Tyson had also a really tough level of strength (I guess he was one of the strongest boxers - if not even the strongest boxer - ever), awesome quickness and lots of vitality at the peak of his former boxing career. 
But he was not only a great fighter. He has also been a totally straight, honest and righteous dude with the heart on the right side and lots of inner fire - blessed with the inner strength to be real as fuck in a society which can be pretty artificial, false and malicious.

In the year his trainer Cus D'Amato died I was born.

For my coming music projects I have to improve my drum skills quite a lot. So, I decided to compose a much more advanced version of my selfmade drum track.

It took me still some hours to transform the ideas in my head into a much more realistic drum composition.
But after trying out lots of new drum playing techniques and other things as well, I was suddenly able to write much more sophisticated drum notes in the MIDI editor.

And finally here's the next version of my Drum Grooves solo project.

In this new version I've made following changes:

1) I've written lots of new drum notes with much more elements of the whole drum set - but I also kept some nice parts of the previous version.

2) For this new drum version I've worked much more excessively with the velocity dynamics in the MIDI editor to get even more realistic results for the sound of the samples.

3) I've kept my previous VSTi Vita Rock Drums from Magix - because it sounds pretty nice and full in its sound.
But this time I've turned off the internal reverb of this VSTi completely and used a much more complex hall plugin from my Independence Pro FX rack to create a much more interesting concert hall atmosphere.

4) Just as usual I've mastered this track at EBU R 128 loudness standards and - as usual - I've made it completely without compressors or limiters.
Especially the dynamics and sound quality of the higher frequency stuff of drums - mostly the cymbals - can be easily messed up by any kind of dynamic compression.
Just like in my remixes I avoid dynamic compression completely and work much more with the velocity, volume and other parameters instead to get the effects I need - without destroying the characteristical, organic and natural sound of the instrument or the highly defined sound quality in general.

5) And finally, I've made a little screen recording of my playing VSTi Vita Rock Drums in my music project instead of using just a single picture.
So, you can follow most of the things that are going on in the drums section much better.

This is an updated version of my Final Fantasy 7 remix „Fighting Fantasies“.
I couldn't wait any longer to share the current state of my remix with you.

I did it because the big update I've planned will take a lot more time (maybe until early 2019).
But I've made lots of new compositional stuff since the last version of my remix and I've created a much better mixing with a more sophisticated sound design and a wider and more exciting stereo panorama.

If you like the former version of the track, you might enjoy the new ideas.
For the coming version I'll create much more new stuff and variety.

Unfortunately I didn't even have finished the promised video for my remix yet.
But at least I've created a little slideshow which is like a sketch for my mind that shows you in which direction the video will go.

So, consider this version of the track as a little appetizer and preview of the coming big version.

Final Fantasy 7 - Fighting Fantasies (Master Mi Remix)

This might be the beginning of my first little own soundtrack I've composed within a few days.

Actually this track is based on an exercise I did for myself to improve in writing notes for chord progressions and where I tried to find out which chords and chord sequences harmonize well with each other.
But then I was really in the mood to compose some additional melodies and it resulted in this little soundtrack.

And of course I wanted to work with my brand-new great synthesizer collection Titan 2 which I really cherish. It contains over 12500 unique synthesizer presets of famous synthesizers from the 70s, 80s, 90s and the modern digital times.
So, you can say I've bought a pretty melodic part of the human history in the form of a large creative software.

Although I haven't had listened to all synthesizer presets in Titan 2 (the package also contains all the synthesizers from Titan 1), I've already used two synthesizers from Titan 1 for this little composition.
These are the really atmospheric digital voice pads and the pretty realistic sounding steel drums (was deeply impressed that it almost sounds like the acoustic version of some steel drums - was looking for such kind of stuff for estimated ages).

For the voice pads I've also created some volume, panorama and high bandpass filter automations.

The Celtic harp you can hear towards the end is a VSTi from my professional DAW software Samplitude Pro X3 Suite in which I have implemented the new Titan 2 stuff.

Hope you like my first try of creating my first very own composition far away from any kind of video game remixes.
I guess I'll make a much bigger and longer soundtrack out of this one in the future.

Finally, here's the promised brand-new version of my Lufia remix.

For this version I have composed many new things.
Here are some of the essential changes I've made in this version 1.6:

1) First of all, I've set up an advanced mixing with a much cleaner sound, less impure reverberations, tighter basses and much more assertive instruments within a wider stereo panorama.

2) Since there are four Sinistrals you fight in the game I wanted to create four individual parts which would truly fit the characteristic traits of each Sinistral, much more variations of the playing instruments and some interesting transitions between some parts.

3) For the battle against Gades - the Sinistral of Destruction - I've created a pretty strong, bassy and straight forward musical part that sounds pretty heavy and hulking.
Therefore, I used some different electric bass guitars which have to compete against the powerful drums and some rather unobtrusive electric lead guitar sections.

4) For the battle against Amon - the Sinistral of Chaos - I've made a much more fierce part with some heavy power chords which goes into an uptempo and more melodic part later on.
For this intention I had also made some extraordinary guitar rhythms which are actually based on an electric piano VSTi I've combined with a selfmade preset of my pretty awesome Vandal: Virtual bass and guitar amplifier VST plugin - a pretty nice combination and good example for experimental, creative sound design.

5) For the battle against Erim - the Sinistral of Death - I've composed a completely new part which is much calmer, more melodic, ambient, really soulful and a little bit sad as well, within a progressive and rising musical structure.
After a short transition some smooth electric basses and a clean electric guitar kick in - the part where you can finally listen to the well-known lead melody of the Sinistral battle theme for the very first time in this remix.
This musical passage expands progressively together with different ambient synth pads, a celtic harp, an acoustic guitar, rhythmic synthesizers and a whole choir (where I could finally compose some majestic chords for my pretty nice Vita Choirs VSTi).
My intention to create a bit different, less rocking and much more soulful, mystically melodic part for the battle against Erim was based on the really arcane entity of this female Sinistral, the extreme length of the whole soundtrack, which really needs at least one great break from the fast-paced rock/metal stuff and the fact, that Erim had also been the mysterious lady Iris in the story who helped the heroes several times on their journey.

6) After the battle against Erim a short musical part with an alternate calm lead melody and a powerful metal transition ensues.

7) The final battle against Daos - the Sinistral of Terror - begins with a little forceful introduction - which comprises some heavy bass guitars, drums and some new electric lead guitars.
As soon as the battle begins the music turns into a fierce and powerful metal track where lots of different instruments struggle for supremacy and clash like in an engulfing inferno of frequencies which finally ends with a raw electric lead guitar sound as some kind of the last breath of the decisive battle against the Sinistrals.

I hope you enjoy the efforts, skills and passion I've put into the new version of my remix.
Nevertheless I'll keep the fire radically burning and try to improve even more in the future. ))

This is a preview or early conception of a remix for the soundtrack "Faded", originally composed by Alan Walker.

Since the original - like many other remixes of this track - tend to go into the electronic music style, I intend to create a much more organic and lively soundscape with classical instruments and some rock guitar stuff.
I'm not quite sure in which way I'll go on with this track - but I guess I'll get some great ideas over the time.
I think with the reinterpretation of the piano intro I'm kinda done already.

I also had the idea to give this track a deeper meaning by contributing my remix to the natural natives, indigenous peoples, nomads, ancient tribes, their cultures and ways of seeing things in life.
I'm very interested in these ancient human beings, because I think they had a much stronger life force and soul due to their stronger bond to the living nature than most of the modern people and I'm pretty sure they had some kind knowledge or energetic profile which could be a key to solve many problems of the modern world, like diseases of civilisation.

So, I think we should live in a way that these indigenous people and cultures won't fade away completely and that these ancient tribes can live in a way they would do without us.
They might be our last living legacy and connection to the vital nature and life itself.
If we get too far away from the laws of nature, we might vanish as well from this wonderful planet and die horrible deaths after living unsatisfying, very painful lives.

Their fate might be our fate.

For the new version 1.1 of my remix I've enhanced this track with a complete new part beginning with some heavy acoustic bass drums.
The new part contains a slightly different melody with an electric lead guitar, a few alternations within the rhythmics and lower electric guitar sections and a slowly evolving pop drum kit section.

Towards the end the track ascends with some new piano chords and supporting melodies.

Since I've got a new audio interface (Steinberg UR44) for using the (also new) high-end headphone amp Lake People G109-P in connection with my high-end studio headphones Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro (Black Edition) at their quite best possible performance level (The detailed sound quality and very flat frequency response of these amazing studio headphones in connection with this high-end headphone amp totally rock!), I'm also capable of composing quite accurately via headphones in the evening hours without annoying my neighbours with my little sonic weapon called studio monitor speaker system.
