Old School Jungle (94-96)

Being a huge fan of the early Hardcore and Trance scenes during the 90's, I fell in love with this style of music (Nu Energy which spawned a record label of the same name) when it started to appear during 1995, mixing the best elements of Hardcore/Techno/Trance/Breaks.

Needless to say I have a rather extensive collection, so here are some of my favourite tunes from that era in the mix

Nu-Energy 96-99

I've wanted to put together a Happy Hardcore mix for some time but it's been very hard to dedicate the time to sorting the records and mixing them of late.  I loved the nineties Rave Culture, it was such an experience and the memories always bring a smile to my face. 

Over the years I've uploaded mixes of Jungle, Nu Energy and Gabba to share the music and, hopefully, bring back memories for some of you too but some of my fondest memories were always at Happy Hardcore nights.

Well, those memories have been resurfacing of late and I just had to dig out the vinyl and put something together – and here it is. I hope you enjoy this set, these are some of my favourite tracks and each one of them has a memory attached.
