Mix by Lou Divito, a DJ at Dugan's Bistro, a famous Disco in Chicago during this era.

Chicago had either pop-rock music radio stations or R&B music radio stations prior to 1979. Between 1978-1979 was the time dance music started being played on the radio in both rock and R&B radio formats, then right after the movie Saturday Night Fever came to the theaters, the term Disco music was used to describe the music you can dance to. Disco quickly became nationally popular right after the movie, at which time pop-rock radio station WDAI in Chicago changed their format to disco, and then was called Disco DAI.
