I'm absolutely buzzing to share the release of a captivating new track by Australian artist Gary Hayward, inspired by my reinterpretation of Erik Satie's timeless Gnossienne from 2021. It's incredible to witness how Satie's composition from 1890 continues to inspire artists today!
Gary took my Satie's inspired track called "Rocking Gnossienne" and infused it with his own unique style, adding original lyrics that truly elevate the music to new heights. I'm beyond excited for you to hear it!

According to the 1865 Larousse dictionary, a Gnossienne was a ritual labyrinth dance created by Theseus when he defeated the Minotaur. But Satie's involvement in gnostic religious groups at the same time probably also influenced his use of the mysterious title.
Borrowed from the title of a piano composition by Erik Satie; its etymology is a mystery but may refer to Greek gnosis, knowledge, or Knossos, the mythical setting of the Minotaur and the labyrinth.

Oh Honey (Poolside Edit)

I make chordprogressions with the styles of various arranger keyboards. I just do this for fun because it gives me immense joy!
I create all kind of genres: Pop, 8/16beat, dance, oldies, country, jazz and so on, basicly everything that one is able to make with a keyboard.
Sometimes the tracks will be of lesser quality since I am thinking about also buying new, cheap keyboards, to see what is possible with them. If this is the case come back later to see if I am working with another keyboard.
I have on the moment 5 keyboards in my possesion: Roland E600, Casio CT-X 5000, Casio WK 7600, Korg EK-50L and Yamaha PSR SX 700. As said, will be buying new ones in the future but they are possibly cheaper since I only use the styles and once they are all done, the keyboard is done.
