This is a piece that I wrote about a painting I saw. It is a depiction of a lotus surfing right on top of everything good or bad. It's a play on staying cool and weathering the storm and the fire. While a lotus symbolizes rebirth/growth. This piece is about growing and pushing past even the worst point in our lives. I tried to capture every emotion I felt when I first saw this artwork.
