▼ This one ended up sounding a lot different from my original vision... for Visions. That's what happens when you try and rush an idea I guess. Chillstep is one of my favorite genres and I felt this song needed to be turned into one for me to move forward with it. I hope you guys like this one - it took a lot longer than I thought it would to get it all to work out

▼ The next track will be unlike the last four: A fast, loud, and driving beat, with dark sounds made from scratch are going to make up the next song - Underworld... This is not going to be pretty

▼ Reflecting Pool, an old track started back in January is now finished! In the three weeks it took me to complete this track I learned several new techniques in working with plugins like Harmor and Sytrus, which allow me to create a whole array of new sounds. New Metropolis Teaser

▼ When I first started working on this piece back in November, I was listening to many indie rock bands at the time. One of my favorite groups known as The Management (stylized MGMT), made a song called Kids back in 2008. This particular song stood out to me as the main inspiration for January.

▼ This piece, despite starting off in a seemingly dark key, has a very mellow chord progression that gets brighter throughout the song. This is an analogy to the Winter Solstice as this is claimed by astronomers to be the shortest day and longest night of the year. Yet the song is also called January because this month is a sign of new beginnings - and venturing out into the unknown.

▼ Overall when I first created the melody I wanted it to keep to a pop house style, that's not too fast yet has a steady driving beat. This is my 7th completed track, the first being Thru The Line, co-written with my good friend ArkticBlue. 

This song is for you brother, enjoy!

Lockdown (Preview)

▼ From conception to completion in only 10 days - Cloud 9 is here, the 8th track in the EP

▼ One night in May, I had finally got around to updating to FL Studio 12. I had finished copying nearly 10GB worth of data out of the previous version to 12. ADHD kept me up even longer to extract this idea out of my mind.

▼ This track uses distorted EDM chords and pitch slides along with a straightforward beat that makes this more of a progressive house. This is the fastest I've ever made a full song in FL Studio and I have lots more projects I wish to finish over the summer, so stay tuned and enjoy!

▼ Here's a sneak peak of one of my newest projects "Skyscraper", a jazzy and upbeat take!

▼ Now I know that it may seem like I use the piano in a lot of my songs - I do so mainly because its one of the most versatile instruments and it helps me to organize my thoughts when I write them down on a staff or piano roll. However, that does not mean that the finished outcome of my songs will always include the piano (or something that sounds like one :P)

▼ Anyways, just so you know this (could be) my first song written in 5/4... and it just might be the first to have LYRICS as well. Stay tuned!
