Using drums, percussion, bass, keys, guitar, and 3 part harmonies, this Chicago band brings an ecstatic mojo that only deeply rooted music has – the kind that that defies you to sit still. Mas Trueno wants to provide the soundtrack to a festival celebrating the art of partying. Their music, dubbed 'Open Source Dancehall' is an olio of the best party music they have laid their ears on, whether that be dancehall reggae, r&b, disco, house, cumbia, afro-beat, or whatever else a good dj has in the queue.
