أدِرْ ذِكْرَ مَنْ أهْوَى ، ولوْ بمَلامِ،
 فإنَّ أحاديثَ الحبيبِ مُدامي

لِيَشْهَدَ سَمْعي مَنْ أحبُّ ، وإنْ نأى،
بطَيفِ مَلامٍ ، لا بطَيفِ مَنامِ

فلي ذِكْرُها يَحلو على كلِّ صيغَةٍ،
 وإنْ مَزَجُوهُ عُذَّلي بخِصامِ

كأنَّ عَذولي ، بالوِصالِ ، مُبَشِّري،
 وإنْ كُنتُ لمْ أطْمَعْ بِرَدِّ سَلامِ

بِرُوحيَ مَنْ أتْلَفْتُ رُوحي بحُبِّها،
 فَحانَ حِمامي ، قَبْلَ يومِ حِمامي


طاب لي خلع عذاري . . . في هوى البدر التمام
بافتقاري و إنكساري . . . أرتجي نــيل الـمـرام
 
يـا عذولي لا تلمني . . . ما على العاشق ملام

I've been wanting to write something which mentioned elements of the Prophet Muhammad's life, mission, impact and special qualities, and which was celebratory and uplifting in tone.
