Are you ready to Be Happy? A veritable shapeshifter of a tune, boss man Steves latest morphs and melds, mixes and mutates, making merry mischief made for maximum musical momentum. Be Happy can be read in many different ways – suggestion, request, even instruction. In this instance, let us not over-analyse – what were dealing with is a multi-faceted humdinger of a house tune whose very raison detre is to induce a state of happiness. Steve deftly manipulates layer upon layer of elements into a euphoric and cohesive whole. Riffs tease then erupt, bass burbles and bounces, percussion cracks then takes a pause, ushering in a breakdown for the ages. Be Happy is by turns simple yet complex, busy then stripped back, heads down chugger meets hands in the air anthem. Musique de Lune opens the month of July by welcoming Roman to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina but now calling Spain home, Valentín Romano aka Roman has enjoyed a quick rise within the global progressive house scene. Although less than a year into production career as Roman, the Malaga resident's contemporary club-effective sound has earned the praise of Eelke Kleijn, Ezequiel Arias, Hernan Cattaneo, Mariano Mellino and Nick Warren, amongst others, while releases via Of Us Records and Univack sit as discography highlights. Also an accomplished DJ, Roman has taken his impeccable track selection and smooth programming to prestigious venues around the world, most notably Ministry Of Sound UK and Eden, Ibiza, while sharing the stage with Dixon, Echonomist, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Patrice Bäumel. With 2025 being highlighted by a contribution to onedotsixtwo's Future Blueprints III collection, Roman now adds Musique de Lune to his resume with the Hernan Cattaneo favourite 'Amay'.
