Deep, original house music from a prodigiously talented young Russian producer.

Growing up in the same housing project as Proxy, Marseille got his start on Mako Records, but his sound has shifted away from the pounding, abrasive, bangers that put his little Moscow suburb on the map and developed into something far more accessible and melodic. 

Long hard Russian winters in relative isolation have clearly forged a distinct artistic identity. There are still production details rooted in the concrete grime of his neighbourhood - a soundscape mastered by his mentor, Proxy - but these chunks of grit and punch serve as accents which never overwhelm the whole. Born from a scene of blunt brutality, Marseille shows sensitivity and restraint in his music, still sounding 'tough' but leaving space for light to get in and emotion to exist.

For You is a piano-house epic with a super catchy hook and vocal sample. Definite pop potential. Perhaps the most indicative of his overall style, Soulsearcher combines sharp and glassy percussion with deep sub bass and a terrific swaying Voodoo Ray-like vocal. Turn the Musik is a stripped down club jacker, shifting the focus away from melodic elements to a loud and proud drum groove. Bonus track Sin adds another dimension to the package, adding R&B vocals to a funky synth-pop top line.

Solid Stone returns to his Phenomena imprint for the much anticipated follow-up to his chart topping 'Himalaya’. Released in July, the two track offering launched the label amidst much praise, earning support from Sasha, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Audiofly and more, thus furthering the sentiment of Solid Stone’s ever expanding sonic palette. Now as the seasons shift the Canadian artist returns to his burgeoning home with the highly anticipated ‘Body Language’. 

Beginning with the title track it becomes readily apparent why Solid Stone has earned support from a cross section of the industry’s finest DJs. Spacious yet dramatic, it’s a brooding storyboard that takes you into the redolent depths of cosmic techno. Anchored by a pulsating cadence, it’s momentum climbs methodically as mystical motifs and warped hooks further it’s mysterious narrative. Destined for main room success, it’s Solid Stone’s modern flair and techno minded approach which deliver maximum impact here once again.

The companion piece ‘Goodnight’ continues with a similar and equally inspired ethos. "When we first heard "Do You Feel It" by Soundsation back in 1996 we immediately fell in love with the tune, as did John Digweed who went to proclaim it as his favorite track of the year on Pete Tong's Essential Selection! Well, 23 years on and we have brought in a whole roster of progressive house talent to get on board for some sublime reworks of this classic...
Part One kicks off with Framewerk's take. Crisp chunky beats pave the way for a syncopated bass and rasping synths, layered with filtered effects, taking us to the main vocal drop in true club fashion.
Willscape is up next and delivers a remix that manages to stay extremely respectful of the original mix with it's synth and vocal refrains but takes it to today's production level of pure progressive house.
Third up and Matt Black combines rolling bass, stabbing synths and solid rhythms which seamlessly work together taking us to a truly euphoric breakdown which kicks back in to great effect.
BLND TGER utilizes the originals melodies to a fantastic consequence. Pulsing percussion and driving bottom end lay the foundation for a drop of huge proportions - a proper club cut!
Last, but most definitely not least, is Tuxedo. He steps up to the plate to create his "Dreamy" remix - a warmly blissed out cool progressive houser perfect for those sunnier moments.
So, all in all, we feel something for everyone here and worthy contenders to be played throughout the summer... Part two to follow..."

Born as a label, built as a party, grown as a collective and cured as an artist. Depaart’s story is not common. The production duo present three awesome original tracks on Sincopat with a great welcome back: a mind-blowing remix by the forward-thinking disco talent, Lauer.
Koi starts the fire with a super organic synth that is well and truly alive. It stands out in an unpredictable way asking to be the main character of the track. On the remix, the German talent of Lauer gives his special touch by adding more layers and different melodies into a piece of electronic music that counts with two remarkable percussion build-ups. Do it like you do is a fantastic and magical journey through electronic music. Even though it’s hard to tell the style, the common factor is smoothness and the voice of Tom Trago, who participated in this track during a crazy studio session in Madrid with the guys. Closing the pack, we have the timeless landscape of Sombrilla. Enjoy!
