This April's New Moon is brought to you by @inkeinke. 

Berlin-based inke finds her spot in the electronic music scene with a sound ranging from downtempo and world music to slow techno and deep house. While 2020 wasn’t exactly the best year to embark on a musical journey she has played on selected occasions casting her spell on the crowd through an exquisite selection of music and her sparkling attitude. 

Her sets take you on a journey through different atmospheres, gradually creating a flow through hypnotic soundscapes and ecstatic tensions. She has put together this beautiful mellifluous downtempo set for us combining deep basslines, bouncy melodies and organic elements with a touch of melancholia creating a playful emotionally stimulating story.

This set is an invitation to dive inward, see the good in what is, gather your energies, and be ready to enter springtime – a time for new beginnings, new affirmations, and self-care.

This was the first edition of the Raining Girl Festival in South Portugal. 
Thanks to everyone who was there to go on the ride on the magic carpet with me. 
I finally got the chance to fill one of my favorite times to play, the sunny afterhour/noon vibe and shared some of my all time favorites.

Julien who ignited this whole Event on his beautiful piece of land; Ricardo who invited me to come to play and wisely moved my slot to Sunday noon

Steffen is creating music for nearly 10 years now and released on labels like Ki Records or 60Hz, but this Set tells a tale about just recent events and the last weeks of his life. After some major events a quite down life phase he took all his time and energy and put it in his music and it got to grow like fresh seed in water and sun. His music is inspired by the bond between people and the ritual and spirituell music all over the planet. In this Set he tells the stories about the amazing places he went, the amazing people he met and all the lovely special music that came along.
This Set also features, next to many amazing artists, tracks (yet unmasterd) of Steffens upcoming EP here on Serafin Audio.

Brückenblick

Ich stehe breitbeinig auf der Brücke und schaue besorgt in die Fluten. Die Wassermassen schießen mit einer schier unendlichen Kraft in die Höhe und lassen unser Schiff auf der Oberfläche tanzen wie ein Puppenspieler seine Marionetten. Das auf und ab ist kräftezehrend. Die meisten Kameraden sind unter Deck in die Kajüten geflüchtet und bemühen sich darum, den Inhalt ihrer Mägen für sich zu behalten. Ich halte verbissen stand. Der Boden unter meinen Füßen ist von Wasser überflutet und ich versuche angestrengt nicht abzurutschen. Jede unbedarfte Bewegung kann zum Sturz führen und das darf nicht passieren. 
Der Wind wird immer heftiger und heftiger. Immer mehr Wasser dringt in unser Schiff ein. Es breitet sich aus wie ein Parasit der einen Wirt befällt. Es dringt in alle Ecken und Ritzen. Fließt unter Deck in die Kajüten, in die Kombüse, durchweicht die Vorräte und macht unser Trinkwasser ungenießbar. Das Ende unser Reise ist absehbar, doch kommt viel schneller als erwartet. Der Fockmast bricht mit einem lauten knacken und der Großteil von ihm verschwindet in den Fluten. Die Balance des Schiffes ist irreparabel beschädigt und verzweifelt versucht der Steuermann den Kurs zu halten. Doch Böe um Böe treiben wir unserem unausweichlichen Schicksal näher. Langsam aber sicher kentert das Schiff. Irgendwer schlägt die Glocke und jedermann versucht sich in eines der Beiboote zu retten. Sie schaffen es ein, zwei zu Wasser zulassen, doch für die meisten ist es bereits zu spät. Ich sehe wie einige meiner Kameraden und Freunde auf den Nussschalen durch die See und aus meinem Blickfeld geworfen werden. Ich kann nichts anderes tun, als auf der Brücke zu verharren und in das Wasser zu starren. Dann schwinden meine Kräfte und während sich meine Finger von Reling lösen, verliere ich das Bewusstsein. 

Zoe Reijue mag es unkonventionell und eher experimentell. Der einstündige Podcast umfasst um die 20 Tracks. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit wird ein ganzer Sammelband von Geschichten vorgetragen. Dabei werden die einzelnen Storys nur angerissen, die Pointe zum besten gegeben, während bereits der nächste Protagonist die auditive Bühne betritt. Dieses Set tanzt definitiv und lebensfroh aus der Reihe.
