Head at the Door

Mateja is the music made by Micah Kolk. In 2013 he moved to Nashville TN in the pursuit of making music his career, but he missed the beach weather and found himself consumed with his day job of being a carpenter. Making furniture and cabinets was somewhat creatively fulfilling but it was not what he wanted to spend the rest of his life doing.  In February of 2021 he moved to Puerto Rico to be able to spend more time with his art. Mateja is a completely independent art project where songs are recorded in Micah's bedroom.
