Straight out of underground Paris and right onto Pinkman’s Broken Dreams arrives Myn. The Public Systems label boss follows up a debut track on his own label with a poem about gloom, desolation and anger written in native machine language for the Rotterdam imprint. The A stanza describes a ‘Mental Outburst’ with punchy lines written in raw percussion and disconcerting 303 work. Following a line break the B stanza changes the meter from 4/4 to pummelling broken beat in a piece about power and dominance titled ‘Black Rose’. The Violent Poetry concludes with yet more deathly rhythms and spine chilling verses in ‘Core Collapse’.

Charlois welcomes back label inaugurator Dollkraut, this time in company with De Ambassade. The label grants permission for them to share this 10'' and create their own world, so they can coexist and share stories about lost love, condolence and isolation. On the A-side they come together in a dark room anthem about sex, lust and worship. It oozes with cold, heart-stabbing melancholia, yet carries the artists idiosyncratic warm and crunchy sound. The flip side scratches open the wounds left by the first song and sees Dollkraut drop his soft touch. What follows is a hypnotic voodoo track, summoning dark spirits with unsettling synths, shamanic vocals and tribal Jewish harp.

Fabian Kempe's productions under the name of Korridor have consistently presented a foreboding and striking assembly. Previous appearances on Northern Electronics have taken in stuttering percussive works as well as tense minimalist designs. His debut album 'End of Cycle' applies a breadth of expression to a wide palette of mesmerizing and intense fit-outs that corrode and fortify in equal measure.

'End of Cycle' is born of a deeply personal set of experiences to have marked Kempe's life. Shortcomings and tribulations that have prompted spirals back to starting places and beginnings have informed the mood and missive that his debut album seeks to portray. Taking in themes that stretch from despondency to paranoid elation, Kempe has developed an architecture that lets austerity scream. Stark and synthetic ambient plains lead us out of conditions for communal experience, yet it's these passages that enable the sharp and brooding dancefloor works to deliver the barbed disturbances that they transport.

Spanish DJ and producer Christian Wünsch is one of our latest add to the Parabel roster. Christian is the label boss of Tsunami Records and one of the founders of PoleGroup. This summer Christian released his latest LP 'Modern Theories Of Genetics' on Tsunami Records.

Anthony Linell's latest suite of tracks cruise and drift with their head up. With a dizzy palette of terse and
winding melodies, 'Sculpting Energy' feels like another new avenue for Linell on his unbreakable run of
EPs.
Drone surveillance-style patterns remain intact this time around, hinting at the unmistakable frozen planes
of his previous works, yet with the opening track there's the smack of bustling heat, as its title 'Therme'
alludes to. The EP's closing piece, 'Vision of the Imminence', presents a familiar sullen theme. Perhaps
the measure of his latest work's difference is in the modulating barbed wire-percussion and birdsongsynths
that wrap the track's cold core?

The relentless stride of Northern Electronics can be put down to the attitudes of its owners, Anthony Linell and Jonas Rönnberg. Their collaborative project, Ulwhednar, has been shapeshifting at the centre of the label since its inception, and has captured their hard line electronics in its many guises.

Following on from 2017's 'Modern Silver', their new album reprises the intensity by grappling with its themes from a refreshed perspective. Crossing Norrland, the northernmost part of Sweden, and graffiti incidents and exploits, 'Razor Mesh Fencing' tracks the fervour of operations left undercover with blistering rhythmic pieces.

With only brief moments of respite on 'Razor Mesh Fencing' its stamina perpetually keeps us on the edge. Winding around its paths, our escape is in its adrenal crescendo.
