Wild child of CosmoVision Records, TAMEO has a special taste for downtempo and bass music with a Latin influence coming from his multiple travels in South America. Driven by a passion for exploring an array of musical and ethnic styles, TAMEO's performances transport listeners on a vibrant journey.

TAMEO is the anachronism of MATEO the visual artist who paints in the street and on oriental rugs. His secret for musical inspiration comes from the many hours he spends in his studio painting while listening and digging music for his future mixes. His paintings also add an oriental style to his music.

Additionally, TAMEO serves as the Art Director and visual source for the COSMOVISION record label.

TAMEO's musical journey began in childhood, scratching on his parents' turntables and crafting hip-hop mix-tapes for his friends. At 10, he learned classical Spanish guitar, then played in rock punk hardcore bands as a teenager. While his roots are in hip-hop and rock, he became enamored with electronic music after discovering sound systems and free parties in France in the early 2000s. In 2008, he moved to Montreal and honed his DJ skills with peers from Cosmovision Records.
