Napoli’s nicest Dj Dep applies the personal touch with his welcome return to the Clarisse control room. Master of the ‘Dirty Synth’ and happy to get ‘Loose and Casual’, Luigi de Palma has left his fingerprints all over turntables across the globe, his sound dug by Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, Marco Carola, Pete Tong, Matthias Tanzmann and Joseph Capriati. Labels-wise, Circus, Elrow, Deeperfect and Defected are a five-star sample section of those benefitting from the patent brand of Dep dexterity.

‘Touch Me’ takes on a classic rough against smooth formula. At the top end, free-spirited female vocals, restless with a risqué edge, look for skin-on-skin contact, surrounded by spectral, glitchy shimmers and a percolator of a rhythm. All of a bit of a headswim in isolation, whereas lower down, Dep’s spicy bassline, swelling, heaving and withdrawing like clockwork, duels with beats bursting with clout to let you know you’re in a dancefloor battle.

Reactivating the track with his usual fluid style, Mendo comes to the party with fizzy percussion click-clacking its way to the top, and continues to make the vocals dart and wink in and out of the mix so the club is completely under the temptress’ spell to the point of orgasm. Guaranteed to get everyone loose with its bobbing and bouncing bass, Mendo softens the edges of the original while keeping the temperature topped up, and puts Dep’s shivery samples through their paces like an icy blast on top. A pair of dancefloors movers Midas would’ve been proud of.

Returning to Black Seven Music this November for his full solo debut, Argentinian artist Tomas Bisquierra drops his 'Beat To Beat' EP.

After featuring on several of our past releases, it's time for Tomas Bisquierra to finally deliver his first solo EP on the label. Accompanying two original cuts from Tomas, rising Spanish duo Kassier also fire an impressive remix into the melting pot!

'Beat To Beat' gets the release underway with undeniable trademark Black Seven Music sounds. Rolling drums and a plethora of refreshing percussive layers build an enjoyably perpetuating groove, whilst rhythmic sub-bass roars along underneath. Vocal bridges rise to a climax with rolls, risers & vocal chops before throwing you knee-deep into the track once again.

'Eso Es' keeps the pace, delivering an infatuating terrace heater. Another bed of rolling drum work and sizzling percs ride atop pulsating sub-bass, whilst catchy vocal cuts and offbeat fills add character and flair. Subtle melodies tie everything together in the bridges of the track, making it a well-rounded vibe-setter.

Kassier close the release with their remix of 'Eso Es', adding even more beef to the original and showcasing their raucous style. Driven by a combination of pounding kicks and a mammoth bassline; an unadulterated tech-house bomb - fit for big rooms and worthy sound systems!

Tech Avenue gives a warm welcome to the newest roster add-on, Southern California based Tech House producer DZR. His debut solo EP on the label showcases the artist in full bloom. This EP covers all the bases for a chart topping, summer ready release. The titled track "Hips" brings with it a wide flow of percussive elements, with a heavy jacking bass line. The clean-cut vocal, which we all know, sets it up proper to become a prime club banger. To make matters more interesting, DZR brings with him two of Tech House's best underground artists to join the fun; Enrico Caruso and Kevin York. Enrico's remix of the title track truly reeled us in with the crispy percussion hits and atmospheric sound. Sending us off is Kevin York with his remix of Flow, which flaunts a unique and massive bass line. The EP contains endless summer time energy and we're thrilled to host this trio of up-and-coming talent. Kick back and enjoy the sounds of the Avenue.
