Casnik (Nicolás Castillo) is an Argentine DJ/ Producer, originally from City Bell, La Plata. Since he was a child he felt music in a special way. He began to experience everything he felt inside through movement, like Michael Jackson, taking dance classes and going through various musical genres to learn the essence of each one and understand the different states of mind.

At the beginning of 2018 he began his career in the dj world, setting himself the premise of transmitting what music provokes in his senses and generating in the public that magical connection with the melodies he selects.

During 2019, he has shared the booth at events with top-level national artists such as Elio Riso, Jay de Lys, Bodeler, Matias Sundblad, LeFrak, Cordoba, Super, among others. He has also had a leading role in booths in other cities such as San Pedro, Mercedes, Azul, Tandil, Olavarria, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Pinamar and Monte Hermoso, in outstanding nightclubs such as Esvedra, Vita, Input, Brandy, Club Quba (MDQ ), Mute (MDQ), Mr. Jones (MDQ), Opium (Tandil).

In 2020 is where he began to connect with new genres such as Progressive House and Melodic House.

In 2021, he moved to Tulum, where he began to open new horizons and continue to fulfill his goals, playing in clubs in Playa del Carmen, Holbox and Tulum; where he had the pleasure of being part of the line up with international DJs such as the Pan Pot duo, Roy Rosenfeld, Marcel Dettman, Armen Miran, Sam Sure, Gux Gimenez, Adi Dassler among others.

In 2023, he began his development in the world of music production with his first release in June of that year for the Droid9 label, as well as with upcoming releases to be released on the AH Digital, South America Avenue and Anoka labels.

His first contact with music took place early in
his childhood with instruments like guitar, bass
and drums and, in his teenage years, he played
in bands of various genres.

Emi Galvan has earned a reputation as a kind of crown prince of uplifting electronic music-a trickster who spreads his mischief via long, undulating DJ sets and bewilderingly funky releases.

No surprise to learn that Emi's roots go deep. His musical prehistory may be similar to many of his generation: raised on rock and electronic bands like Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Groove Armada, Underworld and Faithless. Complete with the obligatory attempt to learn to play guitar and sing followed by long-lived bands for more than 12 years.

Over the past years, Emi has curated original music and remixes on labels like SUDBEAT, The Soundgarden, Balance, Movement Recordings, Plattenbank, Manual Music, Baroque Records and ICONYC to name a few, confirming his reputation as a top talent and with sustained DJ support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cid Inc, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Above & Beyond and Aly & Fila just, which further cemented his ascendancy towards the upper echelons.
As one of Argentina’s most in demand DJs, Emi has travelled the world, delighting crowds in Egypt, Greece, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Australia, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, Paraguay, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay. 

A recent highlight in the Argentine’s sets has been his unofficial remix of Massive Attack’s ‘Girl I Love You.’ Emi’s version has seen considerable live play in recent months, with Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and more all airing the remix across their sets.
Forever choosy in his projects, Emi also begins his 2023 production schedule by adding Replug to his resume with a two-track showcase entitled ‘Samsara’. 

What does the future hold for Emi? A debut artist album, a live show and global club tour maybe, "who knows" Emi says, as those are just a few of the things he would like to get of his personal checklist.
