Edtech pulls together computer power, limitless visual representations, interactivity that lets students make choices and discover the outcomes, and personalized learning. 

One thing that has always interested him is the varied ways in which technology can be used to support math education: developing mathematical thinking through concrete modeling, problem-solving, simulations, etc.; developing fluency through scaffolded practice; and applying understanding in real-world situations.

Another thing that he loves about technology in math education is the ability to incorporate multiple representation methods. Base-ten blocks that can display numbers. Working with fraction strips, area models, and number lines, etc.
