I've been wanting to put one of my improvisations out there for an open collaboration for a while, so why not now?  

If anyone is interested, feel free to add or edit however you like - lyrics/vocals, other instrumentation, etc.

"What's Left of We" is another improvisation intended to capture a moment of significance in my life.   

The title is a play on "What's Left of Me"(https://soundcloud.com/matham-wilsoned/whats-left-of-me) which was an improvisation intended to capture the moment when nearly everything in my life had faded, been destroyed, rejected or dismantled.  Almost 2 years after that moment I found myself reunited with someone who had been by my side for the 11 years which preceded that chapter.  Both of us the same and familiar yet completely different people than we used to be.  

This was the first time someone from my past has come to visit me in my present - here in San Diego.  I felt it was important to capture that moment.

My piano is my voice.  I started recording these compositions and improvisations a few years ago when I wanted to tell someone how much I love them and no words were sufficient.  In the process of writing and recording that piece, I decided to start recording my random improvisations as well (which despite having played most of my life, I've never done before).  That was the beginning of my first set, "Words Fail Me" and this page.

Thanks to everyone who has listened, liked, reposted, commented - the fact that so many complete strangers have taken time out of their lives to experience a little of mine is crazy.
