With Guy J’s eagerly anticipated third artist album drawing ever closer on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, the first offering is delivered in the form of three intricately crafted productions titled ‘Nirvana’.

Forever drawing influence from contrasting styles, genres and concepts, Guy J has become synonymous with creating innovative and out of the box productions such as ‘1000 Words’ which received an array of solid reviews from leading publications within the music industry. A pivotal element of John Digweed’s Bedrock imprint, his forthcoming album is a showcase of all his favored diverse sounds compiled into a two CD’s of the highest caliber.

Never being content with constructing a linear style of productions, ‘Nirvana’s’ euphoric sounding riffs and elegantly composed percussion display Guy J’s versatility as an electronic artist, where as ‘Provokoter’s’ distorted rhythmic composition creates a darkened tone for all those listening.

Jonas Rathsman announces his latest offering with cutting-edge innovators Crosstown Rebels. ‘Complex’ featuring Josef Salvat is released on 10th June 2016.

This is a tech-blues odyssey, an introverts primal scream, where complex emotions and urges are vented and perfectly complemented by Rathsman’s explorations into the dark corners of electronic music. With the release only in the hands of a select few tastemaker DJs, ‘Complex’ has been making waves at the recent Miami Winter Music Conference, “receiving hands in the air welcomes and even a sit down ovation” according to label boss Damian Lazarus. ‘Complex’ is set to be the first underground anthem of 2016.

The release comes with two carefully chosen remixes. First up is Swiss techno stalwart Deetron, who steers the song into percussive acid oblivion while Serge Devant offers up his deep house expertise for a dramatic and driving offbeat cut.

With his instantly recognisable sound, Jonas has found praise the world over for his keen ear and transcendent sets, which have captivated listeners on both the international club and festival scenes.

Stereoclip’s debut release on Hungry Music “Airplane Lesson” is a gentle yet gloomy techno anthem. The Belgian producer delivers an elegant, hypnotic track, playing with its equilibrium like a gifted conjurer.

Following his immense ‘West On Mars’ EP on Bedrock last autumn, Guy J returns to his own Lost & Found imprint with two absolutely stunning pieces of journeyman techno. Inspired by the classic trance sounds that he grew up to, Guy J has dug super-deep and returned with something super-special. Musical, emotional, hypnotic: both tracks will take you to places you’ve not explored in years.

‘Aurore’ hits with chunky drum arrangement that’s reminiscent of Deep Dish at the height of their powers; deep, driving and wide enough to carry the weight of the pristine synths, humanised rhythmic textures and melodic weaves, this keeps building until the very end of its epic tenure. Beautiful.

‘Airborne’, meanwhile, is the full trip: almost 10 minutes of locked-in beauty as we glide further and further into a state of unblinkered positivity. Building us up with precision tension, Guy doesn’t even introduce the life-affirming riff until 4.30 but by jove you know about it when he does. Immaculate elevation that seems to come from nowhere; timeless emotionally rich techno like this is universal. Reach for the skies…
