here's a closing set I played after Mathias Kaden at Harry Klein. Unfortunately it was not recorded but thanks to rekordbox, I got the history from my USB. Yeehee! So I made a 2h reissue of the set, even though the mood and the crowd cannot simply be reproduced of course. ;)

I tried to catch the vibe of that night, made some tweaks here and there and even put a little encore at the end. The set starts quite energetic and slowly descends into trippy & spheric dimensions without losing a sense of euphoria throughout! (You know me) And of course it's pretty genrefluid, as always :)

This is a “restored” recording of my closing DJ set in the Hammahalle, Sisyphos on Sunday 30.07.2003. Unfortunately, for some reason, the line recording from the mixer did not work. So all I had was the audio recording from my Zoom recorder.

The quality of that is obviously not good enough to warrant posting it here. So I decided to try to restore what I could by rerecording the set at home and joining the files together. As I am constantly varying the tempo when I play, this proved to be quite a task. Here is the result – not at all perfect but better than nothing. There are parts where I mute the audio recording because it was just too difficult to sync it to the line recording. Other parts have some weird sort of “effects” because of not being quite in sync.

At the end, I muted the line recording because it was really impossible to recreate the actual ending of the set. Also, I left some of the talking on after the end of the music – I do hope the woman from Frankfurt found her belly bag. She was so complimentary.

What about some colourful vibes in these grey and rainy days? This mixtape is an ode to the summer and cheerful sounds in the sun. Above all it's about memories, dancing with friends in the sunset and celebrating life in togetherness, a warm-hearted feeling of a festival closing set. Already 1984 at the age of 14 years first regular experiences as DJ with special interest in electronica infected music e.g. Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Anne Clark… in addition, 70’s Disco, Funk & Soul. Particularly sophisticated Remixes of Ben Liebrand or Mirage stood on his Playlist. 1986/87 it won ever larger purchase to the House by music of Juan Atkins, Marshall Jefferson and other one. As logical consequence of the combination of the previous one the step was already carried out to the Techno-House in the year 1989. From this 1990 among other things already also Gigs with Technotronic and the C&C Music Factory resulted. 
1992/93 Yavin initiated first massive Events with scene-DJs at that time in Rostock such as Paul van Dyk, Mike van Dyke, Jay Ray and others.

In the last years he foundet the UKW Kraftwerk Club in Rostock/Germany and performed with  national and  international Top Acts  in different Locations.
