Samaya, a.k.a. Steven Truijens, is a DJ and music adventurer based in the Netherlands who is dedicated to weaving the finest selection of electronic world fusion music. Samaya founded the YouTube music channel, Shivelight, and saw his DJ sets gathered prominence on YouTube, gaining millions of plays and opening avenues for him to present his unique journeys to dancefloors. With overtones of psychedelic and ethereal music, Samaya creates journeys in a variety of sounds, including ecstatic dance, psychedelic, downtempo, world bass, sensual and high energy electronic music. 

Having played at many events and festivals across Europe,  as well as being a resident Ecstatic Dance DJ at Odessa Amsterdam, Samaya is now expanding his reach to lands far beyond to spread those Shivelight flavours.

I am a keeper of sacred songs. The ancestors, the earth, the wind, the sacred fire, the flowing waters whisper songs to me that are prayers for these times.  

With my music, I weave together my passions, offering ceremonies, workshops and retreats with nature immersion, yoga, breathwork, sound healing, singing circles, dance, sweat lodge, shamanic and cacao ceremonies, satsang & sharing circles.

I've been facilitating conscious dance journeys since 2012, mostly in South Africa, but also in the UK & Holland.  My invitation is to drop deeply into unconditional, loving intimacy with ourselves, with the other, the group, & ultimately, the beloved.

From the still, silent ground of our being, we can ripple & flow outwards to dance with all of existence, drinking and kissing the moment, allowing this precious life to breathe, dance & celebrate us!

There's a shamanic quality to many of my journeys, as I employ expanded consciousness - through breathwork & subtly communicating to the nervous system -  to pierce the veils of illusion & unconscious constructs we've wrapped ourselves in.  Ultimately, embarking on a dance journey from beginning to end - surfing our own unique edge - leaves us on a natural high, vibrating with the eros of existence :-)

From holding regular dance spaces, I've become known for my high calibre music curation, & out of this, DJ Kali Satyagraha ~ the Dancing Dakini ~ was birthed.  Despite not having any technical DJ skills (yet), I've attuned my ear manually to mix music from the intuitive space of the deep feminine.  I hope you enjoy the playlists I post from time to time.  Should you support me financially, you assist me to continue to offer therapeutic movement classes to underprivileged communities, children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and anyone who wants to dance freely, at a very low cost.  This is my passion, and I want to share it with as many people as possible.  Namastè.

I am available to put together conscious dance playlists for special occasions, and to DJ for conscious partygoers wanting to celebrate life and love.

Based in Toulouse, Youri Sahraoui aka MOSBA is one of the incarnations of what the french new coming psychedelic scene can bring to the table.
MOSBA is sculpting step by step his own psychedelic landscapes, midway between groovy and full on, both introspective and uplifting.
2019 is a turning point, starting to deliver original music with his debut EP on Nataraja records, playing at Odyssee Festival Berlin and doing a proper summer Tour in France.
